I’m all in for the 5,600lm sustained but at only 30kcd makes it not ideal for outdoor use. I’d much rather have lower max output and more usable throw like the manker MK38 with the SFT40 option. Maybe SFT70 or XHP.70.3 HI?
In the Q&A section, I see "7. Can I use the X50 battery pack to DIY other products I need?". This suggests that it can be removed and thus, replaceable?

It looks like the USB port requires unscrewing the tail cap, which seems like a good improvement over the rubber flap port on the X50. A bit more awkward to access but more waterproof.
