It looks like the USB port requires unscrewing the tail cap, which seems like a good improvement over the rubber flap port on the X50. A bit more awkward to access but more waterproof.
USB C Ports actually do not need any waterproofing at all (if it is a waterproof Version

Got my X50 2.0. Must say it is definitely brighter more in the range 7000 lumens with about 80 meter farther throw.
What are those holes?
Speed holes, they make the car go faster flashlight throw further 
I believe they allow the air pressure inside the flashlight to equalize with the atmosphere, when rapidly heated from use.
