Wurkkos DL70 13000lm diving light faulty kit $25

Just so you knowā€¦itā€™s well sealed. A heat gun is your friend hereā€¦

So we only need to add more thermal paste or we also need to grind the LED plate with sandpaper?

I grabbed one to put my strap wrenches and heat gun to the test.

The screw is not fully tightened resulting in incomplete contact, and thermal paste will need too

 I am afraid not, those stock was removed from Amazon FBA EU, We found the most convenient warehouse in Poland, the warehouse only operates within Europe

No problem. Thank you!

The Wurkkos 26650 battery is not perfectly fit to DL70 battery tube. There is a small clearance between the battery and tube and you can hear the shaking inside while holding the Flashlight unlike with DL40 it fits well..

That is ā€œnormalā€ ā€“ Iā€™ve seen battery rattle in dozens of flashlights. You need some extra space because not all batteries have the same diameter. Just wrap a piece of paper around the battery one or two times. Iā€™m using thin plastic sheets.

Hi. Can you ship to UK?

For this price I just ordered one. Thanks Wurkkos!

I hope so as Iā€™ve ordered one!

Looks like the site is trying to force me to use Paypal. Creditcard options donā€™t work. Pity.

EDIT: finally managed ordering the light. Letā€™s say ā€œintuitiveā€ isnā€™t the first word I can think of describing the whole procedure. Seems like all payments to Wurkkos are run by Paypal. But at the end I managed to get the order payed with my credit card.
FYI: after a lot of to and fro with my mouse I could include the coupon ā€œDEAL8888ā€. Extra 10% off. Because
Iā€™m worth it :innocent: All in all only ā‚¬22.36

This product shows up as ā€œfree shippingā€ to New Zealand. I assume this will not work if I try to order?

checked with warehouse workers in Poland, not available now

yes, shipping only amount EU

Wurkkos, if you get any more of these defective kits please let BLF know since modders love this stuff!

How hard is it to disassemble and what tools are needed?

A few tools will be helpful:

Heat gun or hair dryer
Strap wrenches (rubber)
Thick rubber work gloves or lid opening pads
Bench vise

The Dl70 is well sealed and glued. You just need to get the bezel off and pry out the driver. You may have to get to it from top of the LED shelf and tap it out with a bamboo skewer through the LED wire holes.

Yes, the light is sealed and glued, those tools are helpful :+1:

Received an email from someone called Eric from Wurkkos informing me that the UK isnā€™t in Europe and heā€™s cancelled my ordered and refunded me. Thatā€™s news to me that the UK is no longer in Europe! :person_facepalming:
