A hearty howdy do from Wisconsin.

I’m a simple Midwestern guy who has always been the one to bring “too much” light to the party. From the three 4800 lumen exterior led lights on the house, to the 10 forward facing LED lights on my truck (high beam, low beam, fog, and 4 switchback blinkers) putting a combined 24,000+ lumens down the road. I can almost see the future in that truck…

I have recently begun the journey down the rabbit hole of personal lighting. I do a considerable amount of research on a subject before committing any capital. BLF has been indispensable in aiding my journey, 1lumen has also played a titular role. On point with reviews, and my budget, I have obtained 3 Sofirn lights to help get the job done. My EDC is a IF25A. My reach out and touch someone is an Sf47T. Just for the wow factor and putting light on anything I please is a Q8 Pro.

I look forward to plunging deep and headlong into this new avenue of my obsession and many great times ahead both here in BLF and on the rocky real world road we call life.

We're very glad to have you here, True Luciphile!

Welcome to BLF True Luciphile my fellow Wisconsinite! Agreed that BLF is a great resource for researching flashlights.

“Luciphile”? As in “I Love Lucy”?:clown_face::clown_face:

Lmao…This coming from Lucifer himself.
Latin root for light = “Lux”
Conjunctive form of Latin root = “Luci”
Now combine with and bastardize the Greek root for lover = “phile”, and you get…Luciphile or lover of light.

Whereabouts in Wisco?
I’m over here around LaCrosse area.

You can call me Lu.
