Matte makes much more sense on this shape of a light that tends to be super slippery.
Did you add a cigar grip ring to the reviewed light?
my focus would be on making very subtle, classy ano colors instead of the usual red green blue that everyone makes and make the extra effort to put seriously good binned hi cri emitters in them and people will beat a path to your door .
I agree. I’m sold if it’s high CRI with a old tint. RGB aux lights are all nice but I don’t have to have it. If this light is the usual 6000k then why bother.
Not sure if they are changing the optic but I have seen several. It’s available as a option from a couple “custom” sellers too. (Not sure if I can mention websites here)
thanks for the info, I looked and did not see a non Floody lens option for FWAA on JLHawaii… do you have a direct link?
I did see that skylumen offers a Tape Mod to the stock FWAA optic. I dont know how that works, and have not seen a photo of the beam before and after.
dont understand… the LED is not a standard size. Any modding will require a different mcpcb, such as the one the FWAA uses
I will be curious to learn if the TS10 uses the same floody optic as the FWAA, I hope not, as Im looking to get more throw than the fully diffused FWAA optic.
I look forward to seeing a beam profile photo of the TS10.
