You have to click on the size and color to find out the discount for that specific jacket.
There are at least twenty different colors (and several similar styles) to choose from if you dig around long enough.
I already have the one for $22.10, but in a different color and in XL (not XXL).
I paid $65 for it back in December 2019, and thought is was a great deal when I got it.
These ski jackets are an amazing value for the money, especially on sale like this.
I can only wear my ski jacket about a couple of months out of the year because our winters are so mild here, but it's a very nice jacket and it comes in handy when my lightweight jacket isn't warm enough.
Well I just got mine. As expected it is super cheap crappy plastic. They claim it to be “waterproof” but I doubt it. Charging the batteries now. They have pretty high IR. Rated at 2200 mAh… will test them later. Bottom line, for 6 bucks it might be OK (pending testing of the light itself…if it works). I wouldn’t spend 10 on it…
EDIT: (after I played with it a bit)
The good: Everything works as advertised.
Decent amount of light. Though I wish there was a low setting for the red rather than a flasher.
The Bad
Batteries suck. Hight internal resistance. Low resting voltage after charge (4.13 V)
The thing is BIG and HEAVY.
NOT waterproof
No padding on light or battery holder. Uncomfortable!
Head band too small. I wear a large ball cap. The thing is too tight. I can’t see wearing it for very long before I get a headache.
Again, maybe OK for a backup of a backup for $6. Not worth it for even $10.
My sister that lives with me has Prime, and I use her account if I want something shipped quickly, but usually I just choose the slow free shipping on my account.
That works, I just have seen too much information about how Amazon has been prompting sellers to increase their prices to make up for the seeming advantage of using Prime. Screw Amazon.
The Amazon black TS21 4000 which I ordered on May 11 for $24 has the amber switch l.e.d.which and has power bank function. My S10+ phone is displaying fast charging. This TS21 appears to have Anduril 2. It came with Wurkkos 5000mAh 21700. It required temperature calibration to be used above ~100 lumens. I struggled with calibaration until I used the procedure for Anduril 2. The TS21 battery contacts required cleaning. I ordered a second black one today along with a grey one for $5 more. The fit and finish were a surprise especially at this price and with these specs. I’ve either reached my coupon limit or it’s dead.
I just look at the price-point of the item. If I can get it cheaper locally, screw it, I’ll walk or if too far take the car, but get it that day.
I wanted more detergent, and the 90whatever-oz jug has been on sale locally for 7-8bux, is regularly about 10 or so, but got a blurb that it’s “on sale” on Amazon for 8fitty, so figured wtf, ordered 4, and got ’em. So I’m set for a while, and being that for the past 4-6mos I haven’t seen anything in that size go on sale (ie, only the smaller bottles way way more per oz), it was worth it.
If the jugs go on sale locally, I can always get even more rather than chance waiting forever.
That’s a good deal. I’ve been getting the 6Ah ones pretty regularly for $75-$80 on either amazon or at Northern Tool with their coupons. Not sure about some of those small time amazon sellers for these but JB Tool was one that is legit and usually has the batteries at the competitive pricing (whatever that is on Monday or Tuesday or whenever the ball drops). I had one that was purchased on amazon crap out, no issues with Milwaukee replacing it under warranty but it does take a couple weeks turnaround time. I was hoping I could keep the bad one and open it up for cell thievery but they require their return.
Twenty five years ago I bought a lined Italian milsurp cold-weather parka for $27.00. Fugly styling & trendy Olive Drab, with a removable hood that's large enough to generously cover a combat helmet, but the parka is warm enough in 0 deg. F. winter weather to keep me reasonably comfortable while on my daily one-mile-walk dog park excursions. At 40 deg. F. it becomes too warm unless unzipped. Best $27.00 I ever spent. The past few years, the zipper has been acting up & I've been looking for a replacement.
One of these ski jackets might fill the bill.
Sizing is the big unknown. Wife & I spent the better part of a half hour with a tape measure trying to figure out what sizes to buy. The size charts posted for all the similar brands seem not to be related at all to actual human body proportions. Lots of questions in feedback on sizing too that weren't very helpful either. We each ordered one, based on best-guess hunches. Interestingly & much to my surprise, she chose a pink camo jacket (after 30+ yrs. of honeymooning, seems she still has a surprise or two in store for me). Dog
At 80% off on both, they each came to just under $17.00 shipped.
If they don't fit, they'll be inexpensive donations to Goodwill or homeless shelters. Doubt they'll be as durable as my trusty old milsurp parka, but we're old enough now that if they only last 10 or 15 yrs, we may not be around to care.
