PALight BR18650 3000mAh (Yellow)
Official specifications:
- Operating voltage: 3.70
- Capacity: 3000mAh
- Ultra-high capacity and premium built quality
- Protected to avoid over-charged or over-discharged
This battery only has about 66% of rated capacity and cannot deliver high current.
The two batteries has slightly different capacity and can only sustain a 3A load for some time.
The battery can only sustain a 10 watt load for a short time, then the over current protection trips.
The over current protection trips at a very low value.
Conclusion
The battery has much less capacity than stated on the cell and can only be used with light loads.
The batteries can barely rate as acceptable for a cheap battery.

As I have written before, I plan on adding a few of the cheaper brands to the test. It will just be a very limited sample of the cheap batteries, even if I wanted, I do not believe that I could keep up with the new discount brands introduced.

Batteries were junk, they had several hunderds mAg capacity, felt very very light in hand.

HKJ : Thank You for another money saving review.
Men occasionally stumble over the truth, but most of them pick themselves up and hurry off as if nothing had happened.
Please supply some links to batteries/shops, that you want tested, then I will consider it. Remember that it takes between 1 and 2 months from I order a battery, until it is tested (Time might be longer, if my pile of batteries grows again).
