KC1 keychain light is available now

I saw an email from Hank stating 2700k would be in next week.

My guess or estimation… at least 2400….

For those wondering about outputs from quad lights. Check out this guide from Reddit. Reddit - Dive into anything

Basically, to calculate output, take the output of 4 LEDs at 2A, remove 5-10% from heat, and 10-20% from optics, and you’ve got the final output.

1920 lumens

So meaning base on raw data from Djozz, 519A @2A for 651 lumens… How much we will be getting?

Why are the results of this table for the xpl hi version lower than in reality?

In theory, things are the same in theory and in practice…

The author relies on the test results, but for the xpl hi version he intentionally lowers these values. This table sucks

So yeah, 2000 lumens from the 519A model at 12V 2A seems perfectly reasonable.

All the estimates are lowered by the same to account for optical efficiency (85%), and XP-L HI are lowered to get to maukka lumens from Texas Ace lumens using a 0.925 factor like in this output comparison: https://budgetlightforum.com/t/-/64360/55

The 80cri XP-L HI is adjusted using the ratio of flux bins to estimate the lower output of high cri vs the low cri test data

btw I'm the author, I'm happy to hear any suggestions for more accurate estimates

Because Texas Ace’s lumens are higher than reality (= Maukka lumens, he’s the only one here with a calibrated professional integrating sphere)

Interestingly enough, there’s a very very recent LED tests in which TA’s numbers are very close to reality lmao.

And are these tables inaccurate or correct? -

XP-L HI V2 at 2A with Tj = 80C (have to guess here) : 689lm

TA result with TA to maukka factor : 685lm

Pretty close.

Well, you can control this environment and create conditions in which 219b will be brighter than xpl hi, regards
And where can I find information about the temperature at which other types of LEDs were tested?

Does anyone know what is the correct Anduril 2 build for the boost driver?

Hey guys what’s the advantage to the 519A? Like compared with the E21A R9050 2000K?

For K1 it’s anduril.(latest date).noctigon-k1-12v.hex

For all other boost drivers: anduril.(latest date).noctigon-dm11-12v.hex

Thanks
