Pretty cool design. Looks like a great utility knife. Price is presently $10.50, which is about average discount territory for it. Wild swings during COVID supply chain issues, sending up to more than double that. Lowest around $5 some years back (likely never again), but knife was improved over time anyway. Interesting reviews. Standard razor blades means no proprietary headaches. One guy installed black blades. Some complained about the screw needing to be completely removed to change blades, hassle of a screw driver, etc. But a dime apparently fits perfectly in the screw groove.
I’ve had one for years. I really like it. The screw blade change is no big deal in exchange for a secure mounting.
It’s my choice when I think there may be blade abuse in the near future.
A good utility blade and 10 minutes on a strop, and hair popping sharp comes into view.
Otherwise the littlest Swiss Army is my constant companion.

So Bestech released another budget winner and in a decent stainless this time. I almost missed it because this little guy is a Kaviso exclusive. I hadn’t heard of them before. Apparently, they’ve taken over the knife lines from Drop (formerly known as Massdrop) since Drop dropped out of the knife game. 
The action is good. The lock-up is solid. I’m especially glad to see them using N690 instead of D2 here. Keeping it under $50 was a bonus. If you’ve seen my criticism of brands like Kershaw and CRKT in recent years, this is the kind of quality for the money that makes me feel that way.
BTW, if it looks a little funny, that might be because the scale edges are offset for the liner lock. I was a little skeptical at first but it’s not uncomfortable in hand.

I’m usually pretty good about keeping my knife blades clean after use. I got a little careless and left a thin bit of debris on my CRKT Squid D2 knife blade. It was on there for probably about 8 hours. When I cleaned off the blade, I noticed there were some stains. Yep, it’s real D2 alright. There had begun some surface level oxidation. Using a scrubbie didn’t get it off. I had to resort to using some silver polish with a paper towel. A bit of scrubbing for a minute or two—stains are now gone.
I’d seen a few other techniques when searching around. I’d avoid using steel wool as that will scratch the steel somewhat, which can ruin a polished or stone washed treatment. Naval jelly is supposed to be a good method. Also a polishing compound like simichrome.
Anyone else use some other techniques to easily remove rust stains from a D2 blade?
WD-40 works well for light rusty
I've had good results from FLITZ ...might be worth considering
Flitz is great for getting rid of rust and pepper spots on non stainless steel. Bar Keepers Friend is also good for rust also.
On my non Stainless knives, I usually will coat the blade in froglube and let it sit for a while before wiping it off, seems to give some protection to the metal later during use, if the knife will sit or be stored I coat it in wd40 specialist corrosion inhibitor.
For cleaning CLP or froglube work well
And for light specks of rust, flitz is good.
I forgot to mention I also give my knives a light coating of Camellia oil after a Flitz polish....acts as a rust inhibitor too

Sounds like Flitz is the popular solution. Will be getting some. The silver polish worked and so far the stains are not returning but it did require a few passes to finally clean them off.

Froglube sounds interesting, PT. I wonder if it’s anything like naval jelly? I do liked the idea of being proactive & putting on some kind of coating periodically to reduce staining of D2 blades.
I don’t think that frog lube is very similar to the naval jelly.
Frog lube is a bio based product and it’s food safe.
It’s sold as a eco friendly gun cleaner and lube
“Navl Jelley” is a rust remover, it does not prevent rust.
I think Naval Jelly and Coke or Coca Cola, have Phosphoric Acid,
