Am I seeing this right? Could a high cri sbt90 be possible?

After reading the most recent 1lumen review (NlightD T90 GT9090 & SFN43 review | high power flashlight with 5,000 and 6,000 lumens | 1lumen.com), it seems there is a Chinese clone of the SBT-90 that performs similarly (albeit at 7000k). Who makes this, Getian? I know that the gt-fc40 became available due to an order from Simon at Convoy. Even if this thing had two thirds of its output in an r9050/9080 version, this would still be a useful drop-in for many lights. Noctigon DM11, Lumintop X9l, come to mind, as well as several Nightwatch, JKK, Wildtrail, Amutorch, and Convoy models. The presumably reduced cost is a bonus as well.

What would you put a high cri sbt90 in?

Getian does not make this LED at all.
They make their own LEDs, no copycats.

Anyway, Simon wasn’t the 1st one to get high CRI GT FC40s, it was rngwn.

I don’t think the manufacturer could even make high CRI LEDs of that size.

Thanks for setting me straight. Do you know who makes it, or are you speculating on their capabilities?

I got one reply back regarding some inquiries. The unit price on these is about a third of the original. No manufacturer name, I’m guessing the parties involved don’t want to stick their neck out, which I understand.
