There is one problem though, there appears to be a silhouette of a man etched into the bumper on the rear driver’s side. 
Those etchings are a premium extra, but they make the car look better.

While we were without a car of our own, we rented three different cars.
Two were Toyota Corollas, and one was a Nissan Sentra.
They all had black interiors, which is not practical in the desert during the summer.
It's a good thing we bought this 2016 Corolla because we could only rent the other cars at a somewhat reasonable rate for a short amount of time. 
What does a new Corolla go for now? 20 for used sounds high to me but who knows today.
Seems to be a seller’s market for used cars at the moment due to shortages of new cars. Just bought a car on behalf of a relative and had to negotiate hard to get even a small discount. I also see that rental car fleets are really tight, my rental for the end of August in FL is much more expensive than past years.
Yep, it is a seller's market right now.
If we would have bought our "new" used car about three years ago, it would have been much cheaper.
Wow 20k for a 6 years old subcompact car sounds crazy to me, msrp for a new LE is a bit under 21.
Well, the cost is actually about $18,500 after all fees.
(I didn't know the actual cost yesterday.)
A new 2023 Corolla LE after all fees would be close to $23,000
We didn't save a lot of money by purchasing used, but it might have been very difficult to purchase new (new cars are tough to come by right now), and our budget was pretty tight.
Nice ride. It was pretty expensive for what it is though, bit for something newer and in good shape with low miles that’s not unheard of.
Used cars are insanely expensive right now. I can’t find a clapped out, 200,000 mile 12 year old Ford Ranger for under $7,000, or a used 15 year old Volvo with almost 200,000 miles for 6,000. Even a gas-guzzling 20 year old Chevy Tahoe with 150,000 miles is going for almost 5 grand. These are many thousand cars over blue book. It’s crazy. One of our cars was stolen in October 2021 and we can’t replace it. Too expensive right now.
Can’t imagine anything but sales tax, title and tags. Is that the fees you mention?
I don't know for sure, but those are at least some of the fees.
Also, more expensive cars may have higher insurance fees, but of course I'm not accounting for that in the $18,500.
Well good luck. Corollas have a good rep. You don’t have to worry about salt in the winter rotting the undercarriage so it will last a long time. My 09 only has 60k miles on it and at the rate I drive it will probably outlast me.

20000 for an old car wait if they give you a full tank of gas then it is probably ok.
Anyways, enjoy the ride. I know it’s impossible to get a new car, and they take advantage of you. because you can’t live without it.
I see it has a touch screen and bluetooth, so you can load up mp3s on a USB stick.
