NEW Haikelite HK29 with 29x LH351D 90CRI, 27000 lumens, 3x 21700

Haikelite has listed the new Haikelite HK29 on Taobao: https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a1z10.3-c.w4002-24427519581.10.6b6317fdbodRwT&id=676529134809

It is the same host as the HK05 which uses three 21700 batteries. The HK29 uses 29x LH351D 5000K 90 CRI in a reflector for 27000 lumens and 600 m throw. There is also a 6500K option with unknown leds but the LH351D’s are what makes this flashlight interesting. Upon asking, the seller confirmed that they are 5000K 90CRI. With 76mm head diameter it will have a very floody beam.

I downloaded a few pictures from the listing.

In the reviews of the buyers I found intriguing pictures which show a green reflection on the glass lens. Green AR coating should reduce the DUV.

Wow.

This is what peak performance looks like.

trypophobia… but it looks good, wish to own

With so many emitters for flood, why even add a reflectors and just mule it out.

I wonder if they would sell only a host, I have a ton of extra emitters laying around.

Hmm...

Not enough emitters!

their history of quality flaws is of concern.

I would like to see it with 8 Yinding 5050 leds.

Pulled my trigger for the 5000k yesterday, now waiting for delivery.

Seems to be available in Nealsgadgets also

May I know which model of Haikelite flashlight had have quality issues? I have not been following Haikelite flashlight for 2 years.

LH351D? But 519As are around now?

Looks like something out of a alien movie.

Just got my HK29 5000K yesterday.
Nice finishing and simple UI. LEDs are not centered though.
Tint is very white, no green no blue no yellow no orange.
USB-C chargeable flashlights are really convenient to use.

Wouldn’t TIR optics be (far) more effective than a bunch of tiny reflectors? I mean, optically, it’s like 29 keychain lights.

It is all about cost. And with so many LEDs, reflector can show off those LEDs directly.
HK29 can throw quite far at high lumen modes, but it is a flooder for sure.

hey guys, I recorded some beamshots of both NW and CW version and compared it to X50 2.0 CRI and MK38 (sft40 and xhp50.3 hi). Here it is:

it seems that NW are lh351d led, but CW are different - I don’t recognize those. CW is visibly stronger and has more throw while having the same flood as NW. NW keeps turbo for 4 minutes before step down, while CW rums on
turbo only 1 minute. Ah, and flashlight is pretty heavy - head has aome
weight in it.

Very good beamshots to compare these flashlights. Thanks.

Just got my new Convoy and can feel HK29 is a bit heavier.
So I compare the weight between Haikelite HK29 and Convoy 4X18A SBT90.2.
