I just ordered this from AliExpress. Sight unseen. I knew what emitter I wanted and was unsure of the host (though I knew it would most likely be Convoy). I debated on whether to get it in an M21A (which was way easier to find) or the M21C which offers a slightly larger head diameter. I have to think the larger head should offer a bit more throw. I was searching for what seemed like forever and was thinking I might have to wade in way over my head and try to build one…Not ideal. Thankfully, I found what I was looking for, and am anxiously awaiting its arrival.
I don’t have any fancy measurement equipment and annoyingly no imgur account or ability to upload beamshots to BLF. I will most likely be putting some up on FB though on the “Flashlight Enthusiasts” page. I am soley a mobile user… I do however have some Samsung 40T 21700’s, ample area, opportunity, and ability to measure distances. Being a thrower I will most likely be comparing it with my Sofirn SF47T. That 47T easily hits over it’s factory rating for throw as measured by me(and Google Maps) @ 1.5Km. I am hoping it falls somewhere in between my EDC (IF25A) and the 47T.
I wanted a more compact thrower and hope this fits the bill. I will follow up with my impressions, interpretations, and distance measurents at a future date.

Update 1: It hath arrived.
First impressions:
- It’s NOT black! Of course not, I ordered Grey.
- Had to disassemble the head to clean some small and a couple large particles off of the reflector cup and lens. No biggie.
- Something rattles under maracas load test. It’s the reflector for certain. Not a truly bad thing. Different o-ring, perhaps some hot glue? Hmmm…maybe later.
- Anno is well done. Threads are tight if a little under-lubed. Machining is nice with very few sharp edges.
I wanted a shorty thrower and this thing delivers nicely on that expectation. This is my first Convoy I am impressed thus far. It has a good clicky switch and nice balance in a tactical hold. It’s a bit late here in Wisco and the wife works on the morrow so it’s early to bed tonight. Yeah, midnight…early.
