【TS10V2 Al available】Wurkkos "slender waist" TS10v2 aluminum version available with black, green, orange

I think I’ll have to Jon, I can’t have a pocket EDC that so can’t lock out without the danger of initiating a factory reset due to the loosened head.

I’ve got the black and orange that you gave me a heads up on arriving pretty soon, so I’ll hang onto the silver and compare the two.

As you say, refund is the way to go. Batch 3 of silver are due soon, maybe I’ll grab one of them.

Also, thanks to Correlux for taking the time to post a similar experience, I’d decided it was probably human error, but I think there’s a genuine problem with the firmware interfacing with the light. Really wish they’d used Anduril 1 for this, I’ve got pretty familiar with that now as it’s being used on Sofirn’s, Fireflies etc.

Btw, can we please start to call it the “Latticepower CSP2323” or similar? There are CSP LEDs of other manufacturers with different properties.

Good idea. The Nichia E21a is also CSP2323

Samsung has some as well. It’s just a package format and the Latticepower misses a proper product name.

I actually thought it was the Samsung, since the Wurkkos page just says CSP, and I had seen the Samsung CSPs mentioned elsewhere. TIL.

Received my TS10 red, red aux 4000k yesterday. Was baffled at first with constant blinking, still ramping…
Somehow did a factory reset successfully. Aux on LOW!. Figured i have to lockout to put aux on high. OK.

Ordered another. The last one in black with orange aux 4000k.

not really… it is your choice,

but Aux on High will kill your battery in a few days

more info in the manual

I like AUX. so gonna use ’em. I can always recharge a battery.

Got my second TS10 today, red with red aux in 4000k. Really nice tint, but I am really shocked as I can’t decide if I like the CW better or not. The 5800k is just amazing, but the 4000k is also amazing… glad I got both. Did flash fixed firmware on it, almost before I installed a cell to test it. The 4000k will be really nice for nightstand use as the 5800k was just a little harsh.

BTW, I made a fresh compile today. You can find the hex file here. Highlights of the changes:

  • Uses Dynamic PWM for smoother bottom of the ramp (thanks SammysHP!)
  • Lower lows in Advanced UI
  • Slightly reduced ceiling for Simple UI
  • No blink at the top of the ramp
  • That should need it, maybe some other minor tweaks though

Well, downloaded and flashed new versions again on both lights. I was hoping that low power blink was in your option list for auxes, no luck. But, OMG the lows are really low now! Great work! Thanks a bunch.

You can find it in my fork of Anduril: 【TS10V2 Ti available】Wurkkos "slender waist" TS10 titanium version will available on 23th,Sep - #689 by SammysHP

Sammy, are all the traditional elements of Anduril 2 still in this version? Specifically the ramp speed adjustments? Nice button mode, but I have so many Anduril lights that I am not interested in learning a new interface. BTW, I am still using your Anduril 1 fork in all of my FW lights that allows for 5C while locked to set an autolock timer. Love it, thanks for all of your work.

Yes, all original features are present and unaffected.

Glad you like my autolock feature. It was included in Anduril 2 and presumably saved many pockets.

It has saved my pockets a few times, only have cooked on pair of Carhart jeans.

gchart and SammysHP: the new hex is great. The low is close to the SP10Pro now and will work better than the high AUX.

Thanks for your work!

:+1:

Worth me posting my thanks to Wurkkos for an instant full refund without the hassle of returning the faulty light. Good work Wurkkos.

SammyHP, got your fork flashed on both of my TS10’s and love the low blink for lockout! Also the refactored low end ramp smoothness is awesome.

Thanks to both of you for your hard work on this firmware.

I’d say “half good” : it is both very good and not much :confounded:
It has really cool things going for it, but the clip is awful, it scratched the surface of the flashlight at first try.
I would have loved a deep-carry : so I made kind of one using old Wenger chained o-ring and modified original clip, but it scratches the body even worse than stock clip.

Anduril 2 is quite fun, but its one more UI to remember… I’d prefer it if there were two channels

I also succeeded in reflashing a TS10… Thanks to all

the lowest mode, in advanced, is now 0.02 instead of 0.2… YAY
aux lights are off when main LEDs are On… YAY!!!

defaults:
94 lumens memory at turn on, in Simple Mode, floor 0.2 lumens, ceiling 804 lumens. Aux on Low when Off. Aux on High Blink when locked.

advanced mode 2H from off gives ceiling 367 lumens, 2H again gives turbo 955 Lumens, floor is 0.02 lumens.

fwiw, I increased thermal step down to 50C, the light now sustains 300 lumens. In stock thermal config, the light steps down to 88 lumens in less than 10 seconds.
