I’ve got a Convoy S6 for which the brass retentions rings for both the driver and the switch are so loose they fall out.
Is there a good Cir-Clip option out there to replace the brass thread-in rings?
I never tried one Cir-Clip in my Convoys so I can’t tell how it would work, but I know that it would only work well if the back of the driver is flat, withough chips.
Maybe you can check if Simon, from Convoy can sell/send you some of the retaining rings for that pill. Or maybe you can check if MTN Electronics has them to replace yours.
As an alternative, you can solder the driver to the pill, but I wouldn’t prefer this method.
