I’d say “half good” : it is both very good and not much
It has really cool things going for it, but the clip is awful, it scratched the surface of the flashlight at first try.
I would have loved a deep-carry : so I made kind of one using old Wenger chained o-ring and modified original clip, but it scratches the body even worse than stock clip.
Anduril 2 is quite fun, but its one more UI to remember… I’d prefer it if there were two channels
I also succeeded in reflashing a TS10… Thanks to all
the lowest mode, in advanced, is now 0.02 instead of 0.2… YAY
aux lights are off when main LEDs are On… YAY!!!
defaults:
94 lumens memory at turn on, in Simple Mode, floor 0.2 lumens, ceiling 804 lumens. Aux on Low when Off. Aux on High Blink when locked.
advanced mode 2H from off gives ceiling 367 lumens, 2H again gives turbo 955 Lumens, floor is 0.02 lumens.
fwiw, I increased thermal step down to 50C, the light now sustains 300 lumens. In stock thermal config, the light steps down to 88 lumens in less than 10 seconds.
the TS10 has no pin holes in the pads, so you need to clamp the pins to the head something like this:
thats actually a pic of an SP10 Pro, it has holes in the flashing pads, and does not need to be clamped, but I did anyway
===
the programmer also works for the SC21 Pro, with a separate harness…
I did not have pogo pins, I soldered the wires to the flashing pads on the driver. The wire harness I used for the SC21 Pro, came from a separate purchase on aliex…
.
all this thanks to Adair21’s post,
plus lots of help from several kind people who coached me privately to install all the software and driver, on my iMac.
Usually pogo pins are pointy enough to not slip away. You can hold it in place with one hand and use the other one to start flashing. Using a clamp makes it slower, but helps positioning if it is difficult for you to see the tiny pads or if you can’t hold still enough.
I want to thank all the people, named and unnamed, that have helped me learn how to reflash Anduril 2 onto my TS10, SP10 Pro, and SC21 pro, including but not limited to: gchart, SammysHP, Adair21, zumlin, and BruisedMonkey.
I applaud you for bringing Lower Lows to my Anduril lights
my SC21 Pro, and TS10 now have lows of 0.02 lumens, 10x lower than before.
That change has Transformed my nightstand light options. Now I can use lights that were too bright, thanks to the Lower Lows you have created for us, and that gchart has incorporated into these Hex files that I used to reflash my SC21 Pro, SP10 Pro, and TS10.
