Which movie did you watch lastֻ

Hmm...

Yeah, I've heard other people complain about Tenet online.

I'll probably watch it sooner or later because I like the director.

That’s the main reason I was willing to give it a chance.

LOL, I guess I’m a “cuck” (common definition: an emasculated, effeminate male), because I am more interested in male characters in movies who are not sociopaths when it comes to violence and are capable of thinking about the morality of killing, and who are capable of more than a one-dimensional emotional response. And I guess the following male movie characters are also “cucks:” John Wick, Hutch Mansell, Jason Bourne, and the Terminator, who reacts to the need to part company with the boy and his mother by saying, “I know now why you cry.” If I want to experience violent sociopaths, I see that every day in my work, running errands in my community on weekends, hearing and observing the activity at the apartment complex next to mine, or reading the news. I have no interest in seeing a movie to experience more of the same.

I also think that, after 100 years of movies showing no bi-sexual people, it is perfectly realistic and timely to have one movie character who is bi-sexual - a group that in reality is the majority of the 5.6% of the general population that identifies as LGBTQ.

I’ll leave the comment above about a woman who is angry being “PMSed out” to be addressed or ignored by the many female BLF members, and the moderator. But, the same reality applies for a character going through PMS - after all, females represent about 50% of the world population - and that common, worldwide malady has rarely been acknowledged in movies.

Picture The RoboCop when OCP f’ed with his programming to make him “A Kinder Gentler RoboCop”, and he became totally useless, letting killers get away while he picked up trash on the street, etc.

Great plot device for showing the stoooopitity of that kind of programming and how he had to electrocute himself to burn out all the bad programming and become himself again.

Now imagine a new RoboCop movies where that sissy-pansy version IS the “reboot” of the series.

That’s what we’re complaining about.

It’s OB1 being inept, cowardly, gutless, unwilling to do what he promised, etc., and a 10yo Leia has to save his ass at every turn, figuring out what’s really going on because OB1 is oblivious, rescuing him from his own ineptitude, and so on. It becomes a farce, and a slap in the face of what the character was in all the earlier movies.

Without opining on the subject at hand, it should be avoided entirely here on BLF to avoid controversy and arguments, together with all other hot-button social issues. Thanks in advance.

My gal and I watched NETFLIX’s INTERCEPTOR action film last night.

Decent Grade B film which has Chris Hemsworth as the Executive Producer with his wife as the heroine.

US has two early warning platforms for ICBMs from Russia and both are under attack.

Worth a free watch and it was entertaining, for an ‘action film.’

Chris

Caught (for about the 87th time) “The Outlaw Josey Wales” t’other night. Long long flick, but worth it!

Also, “Bucket Of Blood” which is a hoot! Surprisingly short flick, only about 1hr. If you never caught it, make the effort. Over-the-top beatniks, and Dick Miller, make the flick what it is.

“The Laundromat” on Netflix, absolutely worth the time! :+1:

The Laundromat

Written and produced by the brain behind a good number of intelligent and interesting movies (and my friend): Scott Z. Burns.

Good movie.7.5/10
The Devil All the Time

Last night we started Crimes of the Future. We only got about 10 minutes in before my wife was in real danger of throwing up and made me stop it.

As you might suspect, I do not recommend this movie. I have a ‘not make us vomit’ policy about the movies we watch.

My sister recently saw the Human Centipede trilogy.

Do not watch those movies if you get grossed out easily.

She doesn't get grossed out easily, but there was one scene in one of the three movies that almost made her vomit.

I have heard about how bad those movies are, and I do NOT plan on watching them.

Human centipede is warm, sunday after dinner family movie.
For some more fun I suggest to watch
Srpski film
Nekromantik
Nekromantik 2
Schramm

“Srpski Film” is a masterpiece. The “baby” scene is implicit, yet people will swear there was a real baby there. (Mandela effect?)

When you look at the background of why he made it, put everything in context, it really is a masterpiece. And there was an actual story to it.

And Vukmir Vukmir was a hoot!

I gave (on recommendation) “Salo - 120 Days Of Sodom” a shot, but was so bored out of my skull I FFed through most of it and just quit maybe halfway through. The movie was truly pointless.

Batman Begins because
it was the only thing
worth watching
on the hospital TV.

I can’t wait for the prequel, “Bat Man Gets Ready”.

Baby Batman.

DC and Vivid team up to present...

The Conception of The Batbaby

Movie: “The Witches of Eastwick”

Or even Bat Boy.
