Which movie did you watch lastֻ

“Srpski Film” is a masterpiece. The “baby” scene is implicit, yet people will swear there was a real baby there. (Mandela effect?)

When you look at the background of why he made it, put everything in context, it really is a masterpiece. And there was an actual story to it.

And Vukmir Vukmir was a hoot!

I gave (on recommendation) “Salo - 120 Days Of Sodom” a shot, but was so bored out of my skull I FFed through most of it and just quit maybe halfway through. The movie was truly pointless.

Batman Begins because
it was the only thing
worth watching
on the hospital TV.

I can’t wait for the prequel, “Bat Man Gets Ready”.

Baby Batman.

DC and Vivid team up to present...

The Conception of The Batbaby

Movie: “The Witches of Eastwick”
Classic Jack Nicholson
From my dvd collection

Or even Bat Boy.

Unless someone tossed it out on me (which wouldn’t surprise me), I actually have that issue of WWN buried somewhere.

Who’d have imagined it would become such a collectible. I wouldn’t be surprised if there was a toy action figure imitation of the bat-boy out there somewhere.

Oh, wait…

:person_facepalming:

Naturally, you can keep going… into bobble head territory:

although posted much earlier in this thread,
i finally saw Hot Fuzz which is my pick
for the best movie i have seen this year.

I just watched the new Predator movie, “Prey”, on Hulu. Its freaking amazing!!!

Hot Fuzz is a classic.

Prey looks pretty impressive.

I'll have to watch that one (eventually.)

Good to know, will give it a watch tonight. Thanks!

FWIW, the previous predator movie, “The Predator” from 2018 with Adrien Brody… was atrocious. I was amazed it cleared $160 million at the box office.

Update: saw “Prey” and I agree, a good one. Just goes to show how high tech can be defeated with the right plan.

I saw Predator (1987).

[One of my favorite movies of all time.]

I actually saw this movie decades ago, but I think I saw the cleaned up version on TV, and I didn't really appreciate the movie back then.

The first 45 minutes are pretty generic action movie fare.

The remaining hour of the film is top notch.

The acting is good for an action/horror movie.

The music is amazingly good.

If the music in this film didn't win any awards, it should have.

I think the special effects are very good for 1987, and they hold up pretty well in 2022.

This first film in this series is really entertaining.

I can see why so many sequels have been made.

I'm going to watch all of the sequels, but I bet most of them won't be very good compared to this first film.

I saw Predator 2 (1990).

I caught the end of this movie decades ago on TV, but I didn't see the majority of this film until now.

It's a decent sequel.

This movie is reasonably entertaining, and it's not boring.

The acting is okay, and the music is pretty good.

If the music were as good as the prequel, I would like this movie more.

I like how the setting of this movie and the first Predator movie are completely different.

Danny Glover's character is interesting, and the predator is cool, but the rest of the characters are pretty lame.

Gary Busey was a good actor in 1990, but his character in this movie isn't all that great.

With so many characters that aren't all that interesting, this movie isn't nearly as good as the original.

i'm thinking Prey and Predator are the two best predator movies. the rest of them kind of suck in comparison.

Return to Space (2022)

It felt like a 2-hour long SpaceX commercial at times, but it’s still watchable.

I’m not really a fan of Musk, but I have to give him kudos for what he was able to accomplish in a relatively short amount of time.

The ending wasn’t very conclusive but I enjoyed the ride for Predators

Watched “The Lost City” while on a plane. It was actually pretty good.

The original Predator movie from 1987 holds up extremely well. Because of the setting they really didn’t need a ton of CGI. And that predator suit is completely physical–no graphics enhancements. The actor kept overheating in it, helping to accentuate his angry demeanor. I also agree that it’s the best movie of the franchise. The first AVP was actually pretty decent and such a cool idea of merging those two sci-fi realms. But subsequent AVP movies really sucked. Prey came the closest to the original movie feeling.
