ThruNite Archer Pro Runtime---Does this Make Sense?

The ThruNite Archer Pro’s specs include this:

Turbo: 1022 lumen ~ 191 lumen (1.5 mins+145 mins);

Infinity High: 478 lumen ~ 208 lumen (1 min+150 mins)

Do these figures make sense? My thinking was that Turbo’s total runtime would be a good bit less than Infinity High’s, rather than almost the same.

I would appreciate some expert help here.

Thanks,

Andrew

Most flashlights can’t maintain their maximum brightness very long due to excessive heat. So they “step down” after a short time, to a lower brightness and lower heat. In this case the turbo runs at full brightness for 1.5 minutes then steps down to 191 lumens where it will run for 145 minutes. Since the stepdown is so quick turbo and high runtimes don’t vary that much. The stepdown is probably slow and smooth so you don’t notice a glaring change in brightness.

JagerLion, thanks for your reply. Even though the initial pre-step-down period is brief, I was still expecting a shorter overall runtime for turbo. I appreciate your letting me know the figures aren’t obviously off.
