【Wurkkos GAW】Wurkkos New TS22 & WK40 Giveaway-Closed

Congrats to the winners!

Wurkkos Terry, please change the title so that people know it is now closed.

I was going to write my reply to get in the GAW when I say your post…

Congrats to the winners!

I don’t mean to be that guy, but Zephon actually entered twice (post #76 and #80), making it a bit unfair for everyone else who only posted once.
I’m not saying he did this to increase his odds. Maybe he thought Wurkkos would filter out multiple entries per person by making a spreadsheet with unique posters, like how some giveaways have been handled in the past.

Anyways, congrats to the winners!

It is a fairly common use that rules and possible issues that are not dealt with in the OP, are solved on the fly. I make that clear in my own GAW’s when I say: my GAW, my rules. Other people simply say: multiple entries are disqualified.
BTW: the second entry is not a real comment, more an enquiry about the price.

Congratulations to the winners!

I was really hoping to win……. but no luck. However, since I entered this GAW this I have purchased 2 Wurkkos……HD15, WK30. Looking forward to trying them out.
:+1:

Keep happy my man, the next TS25, TS11 and FC13 will hold corresponding GAW again.
And the GAW of TS25 would be carried out at the end of this month. Please remember to join the new post ; )

Ah…The control of this post is not in me at present, and have to wait until Mark back on Monday then change the title.

And you still did not test your product...omg...

@Candela Connoisseur
Thanks a lot for your reminder my man.
I actually want to do that too. Just like on FB GAW, each name is copied and then draw the winners.
But Mark entrusted me before asking for leave “please draw the winners directly according to the #floor”.
So I did it

What?! Keep chill my man. I think that should not be a prejudice to me.
Before TS25 was producing for the first batch, we have carefully tested all the projects we could think of.
The runtime, beam distance, intensity, impact resistance, water residtance, anti-interference, ATR etc…
Now we have added two new test items about AUX light again.
We will work hard to do perfect on these.
Of course, I hope to be able to complete all of this with all people.

Congrats to Zephon and ollywood, and a special thanks to Terry and Wurkkos!

I’m interested in the TS22. Is it possible to get it with Andruil2 - I’m interested in that too

There is missing thermal regulation at all? Today I received my TS22 and tested it. Seems specs on output lumens are real. At high around 1800-2000 with 40T battery. On turbo around 4300-4500 lumens. But there is missing thermal regulation on my light. Maybe it is defective or missing any thermal regulation at all.

meaby it's 55 C on the driver? Where's the thermal sensor placed?

"Advanced Temperature Regulation (ATR) technology:ATR will reduce the brightness level automatically when the driver temperature reaches 55℃ to prevent overheating"

We have seen lights before where they made it out the door without ATR working (the first batch of Sofirn SP35, I think). I’ve seen others where ATR was only used for Turbo mode, but other modes (like High) got hot enough to be concerning. What mode was this?

On turbo. At high maximum temp was around 60°C, on turbo is go high at 70°C and I turned off my light to not overheat battery. Tomorrow maybe I will made another test with my thermal camera and thermal probe.

Ended?

Did they ever post color temp specs on the TS22 yet? I don't see it on their site. I'd be curious to replace my SP33S since I could then get rid of the 21700 to 26650 adapter.

Edit: Especially if the 22 uses a boost driver...

I just want to update everyone that the TS22 GAW has finally arrived!

A big thanks to Terry for helping in getting the package from China to the Philippines!

The TS22 arrived a little before noon this morning hence there’s no way I could properly test and observe the beam of the flashlight.

It is worth mentioning that what was sent to me is a “set” meaning it includes a 21700 battery. Included are the usual cables and gaskets and lanyard but the instruction sheet is just that — a printed out sheet.

The flashlight is every so slightly longer than the TS21. As I’ve been carrying Anduril 2 lights lately, it was a bit funny shifting to a non-Anduril non-headlamp type of light — I must have strobed inside the house more than once, trying to toggle between ramping and stepdown mode and thinking there’s a battery check mode as well.

Just like the TS21, the body breaks down into 3 parts but the middle portion is not symmetrical. It can only accommodate the pocket clip on on end.

Another point that I had to get used to is the aux light not being “on” either on standby or while in use. The TS22 behaves like the Wurkkos or Sofirn headlamps — the aux light on the battery turns on when the flashlight is initially turned on then the aux light turns off.

My favorite feature would probably be that it can work with the existing short tube Wurkkos has. All I need is another 20350 battery. Then again, I don’t think the TS22 was designed with small batteries in mind.

Anyway, I’m still going to test it out tonight and maybe do a side-by-side with the TS21.

By the way, there seems to be an ‘autolock’ feature and it is driving me nuts! Is there a way to turn it off?!!

A long press for moonlight is ok. A normal click to turn on a light is ideal. A long press to get a regular light can be a dealbreaker already. In the case of TS22, 2 clicks to make it light up?!?

NO you can’t disable it. Do you have overheat and not working thermal regulation like me? Also it is possible to view which PCB batch do you have. There is date and version printed on PCB.
