What you got today

Some IN4934G-T diodes and Cree XP-E2 660nm Deep Red Emitters for another S2+ Triple build. I’m hoping I can use a diode in series with the emitters to drop 1.2v to stablize the driver. I plan on using thermal epoxy to attach the diode to the inside of the pill to control the heat.

I agree. I’ve used Norland 61 in all of my tritium installations. Very happy with the results. My oldest installation is from 2009. Still looks fine.

Got me a Sofirn SP10pro, really like it so far. The red is different as I get it on picture thou, much more red in real life but my camera makes it flatter and more orange like. I really don’t like the pocket-clip so I swapped it with the clip from a Utorch UT01 for the moment.

Convoy T4 with 519A in 3500K, set up for grandma use from factory : 2 mode only (this is the 13 group driver, but Simon from Convoy pre-configured it). I also asked for the driver that allows to be used with alkaline, NiMh and Lithium primaries (not 14500) as grandma has no use of rechargeable Li batteries that would fry other appliances :smiling_imp:

Last week I received my Fireflylite E07 Brass. Nichia 219B 4000K SW.
HEAVY! I enjoy the higher CRI. I’m new to this. Aux are orange.

I got Imalent MR90 today. Really special flashlight, cover both flood and throw at the same time. Can see clearly both near and far.
I was thinking to get MS12, but I already have a MS18W, so I think MR90 should be able to give more new experience and fun.
MR90 head is bigger than Haikelite HK29.
And MR90 fans are much more quiet than MS18W.

Paid Jesse from Acebeam an extra $45 to get the XHP70.3 6500k for the X75. Might ship in 1-2 weeks was his estimate.

Got my Emisar D1mini pocket thrower. Gray/Blue, beautiful color.

Cyan aux in side switch.

FC-40 R9050 4000K~4500K.

Not dark yet so waiting…

I’m loving it.

Got Wurkkos FC12 in purple, really killer light with this sft40 emitter that i dont have before, very throwy in a compact body, hard not to like this for less then 30$ with included battery willl probably be my favourite EDC light for a while.
Its also a nice looking light with some good knurling is crazy you can get such a nice looking light for so cheap today, wurkkos has done a really good job on their lights they look great and offer good performance and nice emitters .

Hammer forge or something like that?? air powered?

25kg air hammer I have wanted one since I was a kid. I wanted a 250kg but I’m not complaining. I was making different pry bars and chisels for a while then something happened and I couldn’t make them any more. Now it is time to get back into it.

I have a neighbor who makes all sorts of things using blacksmithing skills who has something similar.

When I was 12 or 13 I forged my first knife out of a coil spring in an open fire and used a bit of pipe to blow the fire to heat the steel. The anvil was a block of wood with a slot and 100mm angle iron. On my 16th birthday I got given a 330lb anvil. It is small compared to my 5cwt. I worked in a blacksmith shop for a few years they had a 1ton Massey. Some days I would be the striker and swing a 14lb hammer all day. Swinging a hammer in my own shop for a living is a dream come true.

Happy for you, grin. Can’t wait to see your result.

I got a Wuben Knight X-O today.

The magnet is more than strong enough

I lost the tint lottery wigh the LH351D but the bezel unscrews (it was very finger tight) and the emitter is easily replaceable

Thats an interesting light, and i suspect that the emitter will be replaced soon

Fireflies Stainless Steel AA format. Nichia 231B 4000K SW40 D220 R9080.

Probably lying in stock the past 3 years. The wrapping was yellowed.
Probaly an old Enogear.

I really like it. Form factor, weight, LED, cost.

Comparing it to my ToolAA2 Ti ( Cree XPL HD LED ). I prefer the Nichia.
