Tactical flashlight

Hi. I am looking for a flashlight like Sofirn C8L (tail switch, USB C charging) but with a stronger led (XHP70 or STB90)

Thanks for signing up, piotroos!

Acebeam L35.
Xhp70, tail + side switch, and the stock battery has USB-c charging port.

Thx and welcome

It is to expensive :frowning:

You may want to look at the Convoy L7. It's big, but it has a dead simple UI that is very tactical like.

L7 is great, but don’t have USB C charging :frowning:

Sorry, I missed the USB requirement.

You have a fairly limited amount of choices, and apparently none with a SBT90.

Rather than: suggestion, shoot-down, suggestion, shoot-down, suggestion, shoot-down, etc.

What are the must-have requirements for the light?

The “stronger” the LED, the less likely a single-cell light would be able to power sufficiently.

The Sofirn C8L already has pretty high max lumen output for a tactical light (assuming you mean momentary/forward clicky tail switch for turbo). The Klarus XT11GT Pro V2.0 will give you a few more lumens, with a higher price tag, and SST-70 LED.

Sorry but I ony want flashlight like Sofirn C8L but with more lumens. I had Convoy M3C with XHP70.2 and it was good light and price, but I need tail switch.

The L6 tail switch fits the M3C

Remember that lumens equals the entire light coming out of the front, and candela equals the intensity which determines the range, both are important, not just the lumens.

What range do you need? You may need a narrower beam for greater range, rather than just a certain number of lumens.

I wrote to Simon and wrote back that the tail switch did not match… I need something with range like M3C :+1:

Ahh, the M3C, I had an M3 and the L6 tail cap worked perfectly, maybe Simon changed the threads on the M3C.

The Sofirn C8L has further range at 518m than the M3C at only 365m. Slightly narrower beam with more intensity.

This is the M3 vs C8L at 150m. Different nights, but both have the same camera settings

Thank you very much. I will buy C8L and test it, maybe it will be enough.
