IF25A w/ batt for $22 legit?

How are guys getting the discount to work? All I get at checkout is a $3 discount. Clicked both $15 coupons, neither applied at checkout.

Edit: 8/7 - finally got it to work this morning. Had issues with the PayPal link last night…thought for sure I was gonna miss the boat on this. Great to have a backup unit, and for this kinda money, a no brainer. Thanks for the tip JL.

Just tried it and seems to work. I click on get coupon then next page I hit collect. And it still applies for me.

Was considering the Sofirn C31 Pro 5000k at $25,
until this one appeared. Based on price and lumens,
the IF25A appears to be a better choice. Wonder, if
you may have additional reasons, why this is light
is better choice.

Two twists to consider:
1). Am planning to use the light for outdoor use,
but primarily for close-in applications. Such as to
investigate; inside and under car, inside shed and to
illumine the home foundation.

More importantly,

2). The lamp will be used indoors, again for close-in
application. To inspect and remediate; behind walls, inside
closets, panelboard, attic and basement and inside computers
and equipment.

Thank-you for considering my query,

The SC31PRO would be more handy from a size standpoint, with a more concentrated beam. Low CRI though. The 4000K IF25A delivers a hella bright wall of light, better color rendition, but it’s a bit chonky to pocket carry (IMO).

Picked up a 4000K … many thanks for the heads up.

I just ordered another one for a friend. This is his entry into my world of flashlights. He normally just buys something from Wal Mart. How’s that for a step up.
Just checked my tracking on my first order, it’s here, I can’t believe it. In 2 days it came from Greenville, PA. to Honolulu, WOW.
When I receive it I should check the package for skid marks. I have NEVER gotten anything from Aliexpress so fast. I usually wait at least a month.
It even beats stuff I order from Amazon. Gotta remember these guys the next time I need a light.

Edit:
Just checked for another friend, sad to say, sale over.
I got in my 2nd order just in time.

Yeah tried that doesn’t work for if25a. I did get the additional $4 off for first time app use

Probably authentic. Price depends on where you buy. Direct or from source. Sound familiar? The Chinese operate like Amazon.

Anyone get this yet picture shows a black button. Anduril ver #

@ TIFisher

Thanks for keeping my head straight.

Optimally, the length should be from 4-5” and width from 1/2-1” or
so (just big enough to get a good grip in a cramped space). Otherwise,
the light fumbles in the hand, dropping into; water, abyss or into
electrical components.

The intense light, long throws, colder colors and powerful batteries,
sought by many BLF members, is counterproductive in this use case.
Long throws are not important, cold light creates glare, intense light
blinds and narrow beams leave the broader canvas darkened. Further
thoughts which you may have are most welcome.

Maybe look into a Convoy S2+. Fits your size criteria, a plethora of warm/high CRI emitter options, and different reflector/ optics to explore which suits your use case best. Still around $20.

This is not one of those I think I’ll consider buying this light problems. It’s a one time deal and probably not even an intentional deal. If you look at the coupons you can see that the deal was probably $15 off of $250 not 25. So hypothetically this was just an accidental deal but a pretty good deal nonetheless sorry ya missed it

These are indeed Anduril 1. Mine has version 2020 0318. To be fair the listing and the manual both say just Anduril. Now I have one IF25A w/ Anduril 1, one w/ Anduril 2, and four different compatible lenses coming from Convoy. Fun fun fun! The button is the same with green aux on both versions and externally identical. With auxes on low both draw about 70-80uA.

@TIFisher

My knowledge of options and specs is limited. Yet it appears the options noted; emitter, reflector and optics, have potential to make a big difference. Color temperature too! The colder temps produce glare. Long throws and intense, narrow, hotspots are counterproductive. Far better to have generous, clean flood with minimal artifact. So the near field is evenly illuminated. Given the needs presented, how would you spec the device? Thank-you.

Could you please link those optics?

Me? This is the 4-pack of S21D lenses which I understand also fit the IF25A:

Got the 4000k version early today along with a 12$ Wuben G2 from Amazon .
this is a hell of a great deal . Great tint wonderful UI less than 170 grams loaded with a free battery . The G2 is cute but the i25a is an epic lil beasty. … Should have bought more :)

usb C lightweight and small for being a 21700/ free battery / great tint / super ui.
ok let’s beat on it a bit …

a tail magnet would be nice.
- ano is slick black and looks like cheap paint .

  • hate these green buttons .
  • aux lights would be nice

but if you buy the cheapest 21700 battery you can find and get it shipped it will cost you 8$ minimum … making this the best $15 light deal on the planet .

Thanks, just got my IF25A last night. The beam seems pretty perfect already but in case I want to experiment it’s good to have. This is my first 4000k light and while it is pleasant to the eye, I do miss the lumens a 5000k produces without as much heat. I’m more a lumen monster.

Pretty sure I already know the answer but WTH. There isn’t any way to calibrate the battery check in this version of Anduril, correct?

I rarely buy lights and only own a few but this deal was too good to pass up so I snagged one of the 4000k ones. It shipped from a usa address and arrived yesterday. The tint is nice. It should serve me just fine.

I could quibble about a few things, like no in-situ flashing pads for instance, but the light is good as-is and it’s just another good light I’ll have on hand when it’s needed. Doesn’t need to be perfect in every way.
