I love that these wind from the left. I wear my watch on my left wrist. One of the more annoying things about traditional placement is if that stuff rubs on the back of my hand.

Casio g shock solar atomic.
Had the first version for many (many) years. The case is metal, the band is metal, the transition parts between the case and band is some sort of very hard rubber like stuff.
This eventually degrades and off comes the watch. I kept making mods and kept it going for 8 or so more years.

Only found one place that listed a replacement. A whopping $3.50 - but naturally never in stock.
The rubber parts that surround the buttons eventually hardens up and they wont push anymore.
Finally after the last rubber part failure I could do no more. So I ordered a new one.

The new version band is noticeably lighter than the old one. The original has solid metal links.
The new band is made of stamped sheet metal folded into the same shape as the old version.
Ahhh Progress…

After the initial setup, never touched the time, or anything else, for as long as I wore it.
Always the correct time.
Charges off room lighting just fine.
All the Best,
Jeff

Speaking of Watchuseek, I'm trying to buy a watch on that site.

I'm waiting for the seller to get back to me.

I hope I can snag the watch that I'm interested in.

Good luck with your purchase. Watchuseek is a great site. I’ve been a member there for many years with numerous successful transactions.

I like Watchuseek, but they changed their forum software some time ago, and when they did, I stopped posting on their forum because I didn't like the change.

I do go there to look for watches to purchase, though.

My two regular wrist-watches: a 30-year-old Seiko, and a Casio. The latter can be recharged under strong sunlight or a flashlight.

I got this from Watchuseek today.

(This is the seller's photo.)

The watch is in excellent condition!

Japanese Seiko divers watch. Usually I’m a Swiss guy but this is my 2nd Seiko.

I just picked up a Zelos Abyss. This watch is super cool looking.

Great company. Great watch.

When I gave my Rolex two-tone Sub to my son, I picked up a Luminox Scott Cassell since I love the tritium markers. Currently awaiting a new battery and am wearing the Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust I bought in S.Vietnam while I was in stand-down from Fire Base Mahone to Dau Tieng. I recall it was a lot of money at the time, $175.00!

Wearing my trusty Yobokies Seiko Monster Mod.

I was pretty happy wearing my Longines V.H.P., but I saw this and had to have it! Marbled Carbon Fiber case, Titanium case back and bezel, Japan 9015 movement with an awesome sweep second hand at 28,800 bpm. I tried a few different straps, from black ti to shark, the Cayman Alligator wins hands down!

I adjusted the movement, am running a few seconds a day behind but will try to improve that.
