Acebeam X75 Beam shots and Output Testing

I tested the X75 against my other “Fan” type lights and found that it has the most sustainable output in turbo.
The body stays cooler, plus it has Usb-c charging instead of a jack or proprietary magnet system.

Come on! Be fair!
You really prefer the greasy USB-C charging of X75 over the MS18 jack?

Great video, thank you!

Great video, gotta be my purchase later.

Matt, another great review of a light I’ll never own (want is a different story).
The extra fan included is a nice touch.

On another note, I’ve recently been seeing a YouTube ad for the typical cheap zoomie.
You know, melts steel, blinds the space station, cooks eggs…
There are some quick shots from some of your videos along with some from Flashaholic reviews.
Haven’t had a video capture running when it’s going.

All the Best,
Jeff

i dont know any singe person who would prefer type-c to any sort of proprietary charger

could you please give unbiased reply, you really consider carrying native charger (full power unit in case of MS18) cable along with you better then type-c? the sort of cable that you can find literally anywhere

what will you do if you somehow break or loose such a good, good barrel charger of MS18?

That individual has an issue against Acebeam, he has been spamming any thread that mentions the X75. I requested that my thread be locked because of it.

A brand like Acebeam should not release a greasy solution for charging. That is solution of xxxx-fire brand solution. Period.

USB C? What are you on about…

"greasy?"

What the heck?

It's only greasy when you grab the threads to unplug the cable without thinking haha

We get it. You're an Imalent fan. There's no need to keep comparing Acebeam with Imalent over and over. When members feel like you're targeting a brand, your credibility goes down. If you're going to point out faults of flashlights, then please leave Imalent out of it and then elaborate on your statements.

The power function of the X75 is a bonus feature to me since I have dedicated power banks that are more portable than carrying a big flashlight. If I were to go somewhere that the X75 is needed, then I would not need to carry a dedicated power bank with me.

PS: I have the Imalent UT90, MR90 and LD70. Not an Imalent hater.

yeah

really, this might work on some other forum. but that`s hard to find newbies here at BLF. there is no chances to sell nonexistent advantages of proprietary charger to anyone here.

looks like really biased opinion. especially strange when it is against brand, that is really respected here.

I am Imalent fan? Check my post please. I criticized all brand of flashlights. Don’t see any Imalent fan attacking me.

Besides greasy USB-C charging, Acebeam boasted in this flashlight. It doesn’t hit 80k lumens, that needs each LED to output at least 7500lumens.

And when you use it outdoor or even indoor, either as powerbank or charging it, dust will sticks on those threads.

If you really want to contribute, then give the X75 a proper review. Include pros and cons.

He got 77K lumens in his test which is pretty darn close. No one is going to lose it over a 3% difference.

What is your point? To prove that dust won’t stick on the greasy thread? You can open all your flashlights and expose their threads, you can easily review it yourself.

He used to time a factor of something 0.70 to 0.75, but to make X75 looks really good, this time he doesn’t times that factor. That’s why even his older Imalent MS18 hit 111k lumens, in the past, his MS18 OTF lumens didn’t hit that high. Flashlight output will only degrade year over year.

Use a bit of isopropyl alcohol to wipe the lubricant off the threads. Problem solved. :stuck_out_tongue:

I wonder if the X75 could be used as a 20K calibration light for spheres and tubes to measure big flooders… :innocent:
