Sofirn SC21 mini

Yea, that is pretty ghettoā€¦.but effective.
Lol!

Im interested.

Gchart, please put me down for the 4 wire version with diode. That would work great with the UPDI programmer I have.

Thank you, Bob.

Jon, thanks for the link. I just ordered 3 more, one of each color, with battery of course. I see some emitter swaps in my future

congrats, me too

here are some recents

I think Im missing one w sw45k :innocent:

:+1:

If I have these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LZV1G6K, then can I just solder the wire to the jumper connecting TX/RX or is the diode required?

I just got some of those USB adapters. From my tests, I was able to flash firmware just fine. BUTā€¦ I have not yet tried that with just jumping the TX and RX together. Some people have gotten it to work, and I think a couple have not reported as much luck.

Those are the adapters I have, I have not tried any flashing yet, I only connected it to my pc to make sure I could see the com port.

No dice. So where is a good place to get assorted diodes and resistors?

Are these still shipping with Anduril 1.0?

yes
the SC21 Pro ships w Anduril 1.
I use gcharts programmer to reflash to Anduril 2.

alternatively, the Wurkkos TS10, and Sofirn SP10 Pro, ship w Anduril 2

Cool, my SP10Pro is on permanent EDC duty, but I just wanted to see the difference in hand between the 16340 and 14500 size lights. Canā€™t really take the word of people online about feel in hand because, well, their hands arenā€™t my hands

I might go for one anyway just because theyā€™re so(firn) affordable. Just to see how it feels.

I like the shorter (but fatter) SC21 Pro size better than the SP10 Pro form factor. (both lights have the same carry weight)
.
I also like the lighted button better, the clip rides deeper, and it tailstands better

Very nice - the reflectors are the same size, right? I think I heard that somewhere.

Any luck on finding a TIR that goes in without too much sanding or cutting required? Iā€™ve got DC-Fix on my SP10Pro, but Iā€™m curious if there are any other nice lens options.

actually no
.

I do not have a good undetstanding of the Pebbled Tir Optionsā€¦ but yes, I have seen some photos

Ok thanks. Those are nice pinks

Pebble Tir info

Very interesting, thanks for that. Pity they arenā€™t the same size, because I tried the S2+ TIRs and they donā€™t work like drop-ins on my SP10Pro like they do in that SC21Pro. Thatā€™s another tick for me getting one I guess.

20mm TIRs are most common for these lights (S2+, etc.), but 17mm is another somewhat common size. Fits in D25 headlamps with minimal sanding, so see if one of those would do.

Only thing Iā€™d be concerned with is depth. (Thatā€™s what she saidā€¦)
