Replacing a Astrolux® FT02S?

I need to replace an Astrolux FTO2S that has been missed placed,…dont ask it is a long story! :person_facepalming:

I liked the combination of flood, throw, and output this light had but thought there may be better options.

I am looking for an 18650 or 21700 light with a good mix of throw and flood that can put out a lot of lumens leaning more to on the “floody” side.

What do you guys recommend?

This has more throw because of the larger head, but still pretty floody

Or the more pocket friendly smaller head version that’s more floody - NB90.16LED

This is a power hungry LED. I would highly recommend the SamSung 30T and a spare or 2

I have this light which I believe has the same LED but they call it the SFH55.
Mateminco and Astrolux are the same. Astrolux has the same version of my light

You can use 3 different batteries 26650, 21700, 18650
But as I said earlier, this LED inhales batteries. A 18650 would drain pretty fast.

Nightwatch NI03 Valkyrie.

Amutorch xt60 nb90.16

Nightwatch Incredible

The Ft03S with sfh55 is an option, but the xt60 (I tested it… makes 10,000 lumens) has a current regulated driver (for every mode except turbo).

Other option is the Mf01 mini with xpl hi leds.

Maybe I should have explained more about what I was looking for?

I own 2 Ft03s, one with a “floodier” emitter and one with a lazer beam spot emitter (I should remember which leds I have but I can’t). I love this flashlight, but I am looking for something smaller. I am looking for that almost “pocketable” but a little too big category that the FTO2S fits into.

I think Banggood has it for $59.99, maybe I should just reorder this light?

I own way too many flashlights and batteries already but loosing this light gives me an excuse to try a new light!

I have many 18650 and 21700 cells, Samsung, Molicel, and Panasonic but very few 26650.

Okay how about the Amutorch xt45 nb90.16? It’s a lot smaller than the xt60 (even smaller than a C8) but still makes over 9000 lumens (as tested). Same driver as the Xt60 also. Takes 21700. It’s at Nealsgadgets for around $60. That’s the smallest 9000+ lumens you can get besides a FW21 Pro.
