Does the aux light always on & cannot be turned off?
Aux light is controlled Anduril 2. You can turn it off. You can also set it to low or high.
set into advanced UI and 7 clicks the switch to change the aux light modes

Thanks!
I like this clip design a lot, it looks very good (well done tactical_grizzly) :THUMBS-UP: .
I haven't seen Wurkkos comment on this directly. Wurkkos (or Wurkkos Terry) could you let us know if there is any chance that you will be producing a nice one way deep carry clip like this in the future?
Hear, hear! Or something like that.
This clip by Tactical Grizzly looks absolutely perfect!
I also like how he texture the TS10 to make it grippy.
MAO (white) is best suited for display pieces or “shelf queens”. Unless it’s clear coated, I can’t see it standing up to every day wear and tear as well as a good ano finish. A week in an active person’s pocket will likely burnish the high points, stain the finish, and look uneven from handling. My (now not functional) MAO Pioneman K36 is nice to look at, but I can already see some spotty discoloration just from the minimal handling it’s had.
If I buy an MAO TS10, it would be as a curio. I would much prefer that silver ano finish from the first batch.…in my humble opinion, of course. YMMV.
I don’t think I’ll ever try white again :person_facepalming: I’ve received so many messages that silver is loved and this color will continue in future
TimMc:Does the MAO process require more energy and need to take a longer time to produce a stronger coating?
From what I’ve read about other countries doing it, it’s less energy and also less pollution (anodizing is actually a pretty nasty process, chemically, all things considered). I suppose it varies by applicator, no idea who the folks that are doing it for Wurkkos, Convoy, etc are or if they may be doing a “reduced cost” process for looks.
Anodizing does bring pollution, all the oxidation factories in Shenzhen are no longer allowed to open, and relocated to neighboring cities

Aw, I was looking forward to the MAO white version, was holding back on buying a black one since I wanted both a black and a white one. I don't like silver anodization. MAO done right should be very durable, yes it does "scratch" easily but most times it's not actual scratches but actually the other material getting scraped off and sticking to the white surface (especially if the "scratches" are a dark color). A pencil eraser or some cleaning with a brush can get it off again to some extend. I have a white Noctigon DM1.12 and a white Convoy T4 and I love them both.

I notice that the aux-LED will always turn ON when the main light is ON, no matter if the aux-LED state is in the Off/Low/High/Blinking state.
For instance, use 7 clicks (in Advanced mode) to set the aux-LED to OFF state.
Now if I hold the flashlight to turn it on in Lowest brightness, I notice that the aux-LEDs are also lit up.
(this behavior is actually similar to side button LED of Anduril flashlights, when the side-button light “sort of tracks” the power consumption (Low -> High side button brightness, after crossing the regulated level (usually a blink in the middle of ramping).
(This is unlike the real “RGB aux-LED” behavior such as in the Emisar D4v2, where the aux-LED will turn Off, when the main light is ON)

This is a known bug. There’s already and updated firmware available and Wurkkos will be using it on future production runs.

Oops, sorry, didn’t mean to be the proverbial “turd in the punch bowl”. :person_facepalming:
Judging by the voiced demand, MAO should be very successful sales wise. The TS10 is a wonderful light in any color.

I second this – I will likely directly get the white MAO ts10 (it just looks great, and i held off on getting a ts10 for this).
You will see wear on ‘normal’ anodization as well, that’s just a part of using/carrying a tool. Worry about keeping the light in pristine condition shouldn’t be bigger with a MAO finish imho.

I want one reserved in 4000k with ice blue aux please, or which platform will have it first?
Convoy Brand MAO T4 does not scratch easily. It looks very good in real life!
I received Two TS10 Black hosts.

I used the awesome programmer I got from gchart and reflashed both lights successfully!
The Aux now turn off when main LEDs are on
There is LVP on Aux
There are 10x lower lows, now 0.01 Lumens!
This reflashing kit Totally Rocks!
I had saved a custom hex file with all my favorite user configurable settings for TS10. I was able to load all my custom preferences for ceiling, floor, turbo style, memory mode, aux brightness, etc… Soooo Cool!
thanks to all who helped me learn how to reflash Anduril
The TS10 is an awesome little EDC!

Would definitely want to get the reflashing kit if Wurkkos will offer one. I’m not sure if gchart would be able to ship one to my country…
How can I have the equipment and detail instructions to reflash the firmware. Thank you.
I received Two TS10 Black hosts.
