【TS10V2 Al available】Wurkkos "slender waist" TS10v2 aluminum version available with black, green, orange

I disagree.

A 2-way clip is a nice to have option ONLY if you wear a ball-cap and attach your light to it. If you’re like me and never do this, a 2-way clip is vastly inferior to a 1-way clip, because:

  • It sticks out further than a 1-way clip making for a less compact light.
  • The bottom of the clip tends to lack a sufficient lip to slip over a pocket or belt. Result is instead of a simple one-handed operation to clip the light, it now requires two hands: one to hold the light and the other to lift up the clip.
  • The backbend is unnecessary weight.
  • The lip of the backbend may get caught on things when pulling the light out of a pocket.
  • Many 2-way clips, like the one on the TS10 are not deep carry. The ones that are deep carry tend to really stick out too far (example: the optional deep carry clip for the FWAA).
  • The TS10’s backbend is really small. Some users who actually tried clipping the light to a ball cap reported the backbend was too small to actually fit over the thickness of a cap brim.

Add a clip groove to the flashlight head, then flip the clip to use on a hat.

Both Choices are good for different purposes. I really like the EDC05 clip for my urban EDC. When I go camping, I like the option to clip to a hat.

.

good idea but installing and removing, press on clips will scratch up the anodising… you can see Im using shrink wrap tubing so I can test different clips without damage.

another option:
design the body with the same threads at both ends, then flip the body for bezel up or down carry, without removing the clip.

Even better than press on clips, use a captive clip like the FWAA does (and it has the same threads so the body can be flipped). Then there is no need for a clip groove in the body.

Is there a BLF discount code for the US Amazon store Like there is for the EU Amazon?

dont know, but

I just got 25% off the Amazon price by buying from Wurkkos.com
without a code

Plus Amazon does not have Red TS10 hosts.

Oh, wow…that’s a really drastic move! I’m sure that must complicate manufacturing and slow down the processes. I’ve seen a few videos showing small anodizing shops in China - no idea how old the footage was or where in China the shops were, but they looked pretty bad in terms of pollution and safety for the workers. Shops in the US could never get away with most of that (expensive to follow the laws, but they could be fined or shut down if they don’t). These shops can be in large closely populated cities as long as they have the means and infrastructure to operate safely/cleanly. Then again, I’ve seen some footage from shops that do work for major computer parts manufacturers, and those shops looked much more modern, better facilities and equipment.

Thank you for your information about some of the things in China and such…you’ve shared lots of little things in various threads that are interesting and helpful to be aware of!

As long as the two to three times as long wait is not objectionable. But that is how I got mine.

To answer the question asked. Though I have read every post, I am not sure I have seen an Amazon US code… but it might pay to take a look or try a search (even though I don’t have much use for the search engine here). Maybe just a general Google (or your favorite search engine) search…
Or PM Wurkos… I just am not sure how often they read this thread…

Each to his own but I’ve had lots of calls where the 2-way clips were quite handy to have and a regular clip would not have served the utility purposes. Attaching the light to clipboards, car sun visors, various small wires and cabling, suspended ceiling grid and such (often where a headlamp would be much better suited, but the 2-way clip worked a treat). Generally I prefer a good regular clip instead.

agree
it took 13 days for mine to arrive,
.
I saved $7.50 comparing today’s Amazon and Wurkkos prices

I then updated the firmware and put them up for sale. They were both adopted and shipped out within 48 hours.

I have three more coming.
Dont wait to inhale.

hi yes, update a code for Amazon us: 20% —T3ZILD9I

MAO available now:

This is first time try Micro arc oxidation, ignore the protection of the coating during the second machining process, some flashlights have some minor flaws,
so selling MAO at a lower price, I think we may not want to try it again, it really takes time, workers have to wear white gloves during the assembly process, which is inconvenient for screwing and installation.

Do not forget 10% code—WKMB888

Nice, just managed to get one.
I don’t usually like cool white, but thought I’d try these high CRI ones. Seeing as the light is white, I went for blue aux to complete the icy look! Should go well with my red 4000k one with red aux.
Now just to wait for the brass version in 3000k with orange aux, Wurkkos?

Good choice! Did the same.

Brass version will in 3000K

Site keeps changing to Russian language when I try to order

Yes!!

Do you have a date for these yet?

the end of this month :innocent:

Lovely

Thanks, TS10 MAO ordered!

Awesome, thank you!
