So one of the facebook groups I am in, I have been watching a few moders modding the Convoy S2+ with a triple emitter with aux low powered lights on the board as well. They seem to have the dragon software programmed in the driver.
Anyone know where they are finding the software, and emitter board?
I am not saying they are over charging for the lights they are building but I was told a price of over $100.00 bucks and I can not help but think maybe if I want one I should find all the parts and build it myself.
Don’t get me wrong, I think they are cool and all and people building out custom lights can charge what they want. I am just frugal and have a hard time paying over $100.00 for a modded $15.00 light. The S2+ is a very good deal before getting modded, but ouch.
Picasso is sketching at a park. A woman walks by, recognizes him, and begs for her portrait.
Somehow, he agrees.
A few minutes later, he hands her the sketch. She is elated, excited about how wonderfully it captures the very essence of her character, what beautiful work it is, and asks how much she owes him. “5000 francs, madam,” says Picasso.
The woman is incredulous, outraged, and asks how that’s even possible given it only took him 5 minutes.
Picasso looks up and, without missing a beat, says: “No, madam, it took me my whole life.”
I get it. I Put in the statement that I think I can do it for less with my skill set. I need to find a source and give it a go. I even said I am frugal you must have missed that. Had I asked someone to build it for me then balked at the price you would be in line. This person was selling the lights. I asked how much, he answered.
Cool, they do seem a bit overpriced.
I was just making a point as a lot of people here don’t appreciate the time and skills it takes to accomplish something they can’t do themselves.
How much is someones time worth is always the question.
You know me, I’m all for encouraging people to get into building their own stuff
