Sofirn SC21 mini

step 1. buy the TS10 ProgoPogo from gchart
2. here is a tutorial:

word is avrdudess also works… I cant say… my Old Mac has a brain of its own

good luck,
for me learning to reflash without prior experience… was a total cluster. I killed 2 lights in the process (I call it a Seminar Fee), almost more than Ive killed modding… lol…

I dont have your background, it may be like frisbee golf in Alameda Park for you

Ok, thanks for the clarification. I’ll PM you regarding specifics of the programmer and adapter.

Confirmed: I just flashed the TS10 file to my SC21 Pro and it’s working great! Lower lows and all.

you Rock! thanks gchart!

Thanks for the link jon_slider, but for some reason it doesn’t work for me right now. If I copy the text of the link and go there it does work. Weird.

I’ll likely slow roll this one for now, sort of like my standard tee shot at hole 4 of Evergreen Park disc golf course.
No disc golf at Alameda park, too many folks hanging out there for that activity. Would be nice though, as that’s much closer to my house. Back to the topic, I think the thing Anduril 2 has that I would am most interested in is the timer feature in 5 minute increments for sunset, so for now I’ll watch this thread and see how things go for folks.

glad youre on a roll…

the link is too long, thanks for the heads up, glad you figured it out… edited my post so its not a raw link… this way works:

here is a tutorial:

I want to try my hand at first time flashing - so if I follow those instructions from the reddit post - with all those parts, it should work for the SC21? I am a complete newb at this but willing to learn.

yes and no

yes the programmer for the SP10 works on the SC21, but the pogo pins are different

this is what the SP10 setup looks like:
.

on the SC21 Pro, there are 6 flashing pads, on the SP10 Pro there are 3 flashing pads

gchart built a Pogo Pin Adapter for SC21, that looks like this:
.
so the pogo pins can reach flashing pads number 2, 6, and 1 on the SC21 Pro

you can also solder the wires to the SC21 Pro flashing pads, if you dont have pogo pins

Ok I see. And I’m guessing since you can’t buy a setup that’s off the shelf, you either have to DIY it or get one from gchart.

Assuming I want to build one from scratch, what components would I need?

Here’s the board: OSH Park ~

Same components and instructions as this: OSH Park ~

Very cool, I’ve got some homework to do

Which Hex file are you using for the TS10?

http://www.ghart.com/blf/firmware/hex_files/sofirn_anduril2/

choose: anduril.2022-07-19.wurkkos-ts10.hex

Thanks Jon!

Hmm, getting “Network Error” trying to download it. I can access the page, and see the files, but download is failing. The site certificate expired on 9/5/22, wonder if that’s the problem.

please try again, I edited my post, dont use the link you quoted

Same error.

I see a directory of files when I click on this

I do not get the error you are getting… so… maybe someone else will need to help you… welcome to the process of learning how to reflash :person_facepalming:

Make it http in the address, not https

I don’t do much of anything in my website, so I don’t maintain a certificate

http://www.ghart.com/blf/firmware/hex_files/sofirn_anduril2/

That did it, thanks.

Received my pogo pin adapter from Gchart today and wired it up to my updi adapter. I tried using avrdudess, but it kept giving me grief about not being able to find the specified file, whether I was trying to read to a backup or write to the attiny1616. So, I used the commands in avrdude command line and it worked like a charm. I was able to make a backup of the stock firmware and flashed the anduril.2022-07-19.wurkkos-ts10.hex firmware to it. Performed a factory reset as recommended and its up and running on Anduril 2. Thanks everybody for doing all the legwork on this.
