FREEME ✌ ASTROLUX ED01 750lm 209m 14500 Flashlight Camping Lantern Group Buy - Interest Check

I need one for a gift soon, so I went ahead and ordered one from nealsgadgets.

I doubt it will, but does anybody know if it will work with a NiMH AA? Are there any numbers on how many lumens or runtime for low mode?

CCT, CRI? It would be nice if they used the 3000K 95 CRI. 4000k 85 CRI would be ok, too, but if it’s one of the 6500/6000/5000K versions, then I get what I get.

ETA: Dang, I was looking at specs for SFH43, not SFQ43. I can’t even find any info on available CCT, CRI, etc. on SFQ43.

Did you get 15% off, new arrivals get that discount. That’s what it says at the top of his page.

Do you know if it will come with the base?

I used the “NDNA” code and got a discount. I hope it comes with the base and the diffuser, since those are both pictured and mentioned in the item description. I couldn’t find them separately. With that tail switch, the diffuser would be almost useless without the base.

Thank you …I sent an email asking about the Base, I’ll wait maybe a couple of days.

This lamp is just way to cool looking to pass on.
I will get one.

Neal just responded in 2 minutes!!!

Package include:
1x Mateminco FT01 Flashlight
1x diffuser
1x base

He just added to the description.

Time to buy

It’s now in the description.

Package include:
1x Mateminco FT01 Flashlight
1x diffuser
1x base

Also, I’m pretty sure it takes AA and Eneloops and runs at reduced output.

Thank you very much! @RichH
Ordered.

My Mateminco FT01 arrived today.

First impressions:

It’s very cute. That’s a good thing, because this is for Mrs. Manithree. The base and diffuser “mushroom cap” are 3d-printed, so they’re hard, and fit loosely. As expected, it doesn’t work with a 1.x volt AA.

The emitter is very warm, probably 3000K and appears to be high CRI. Moonlight is claimed to be 1 lm, and it’s very low. No mode memory, so it starts on moon every time. It does warm up eventually on high, but with my Keepower, it takes a long time to get hot. Actually, I’ve been using that battery in my T2 and it’s not fully charged. I’ll try again after it’s charged.

I like it.

ETA: It says SFQ43 3000K on a sticker on the box.

Thank you for sharing it with us.

Mateminco FT01 and FT02 Group Buy will happening this week.

I got mine yesterday, and it is a cute little thing. I’m not too impressed with the fit of the base and top, but it will sit happily on a more stable surface than the campervan folding table I’ve put it on. The lanyard ring is pretty loose and can’t be tightened, adding to the general wobbly fit of the base.

Emitter is bang on though, perfect candle-like yellow, a very mellow light.

To be honest, I’m not sure I’ll keep it. It’s an interesting curio, I think many of you will like it’s quirky design, but it’s not for me.

Yup.

My wife loves the look of Edmund’s torch in the Chronicles of Narnia movie(s?). This is a little small for that, but similar, and kinda retro looking. Plus my wife uses a flashlight as a lantern a lot when she travels, so a low moonlight, and the cute diffuser will be a hit for her, I hope.

I don’t disagree on the lanyard ring. It’s rattly and lowers the perceived quality.

If I wanted a pocket thrower, I would consider one for myself. But, the pocketability lost by having that huge head doesn’t seem commensurate with the gain in throw. Especially compared to, say, a GT Nano.

The beam is perfect, though. Great tint, smooth, even color. I have a hard time not liking a light like that. Kinda the whole point.

Maybe I’ll live with it for a bit and ignore its foibles. I haven’t really used it as a torch yet and only given my first impressions. It was attractive to me for the same reason as you, the retro look. To me it is steampunk and the incandescent torches of old. The Sofirn IF22A got me for the same reason, old skool looks.

Plus, Jamie had one.

You got a magic one?!? Lucky!

Deal is alive now.

Judging by the dimensions, the shade of the FT02 might also fit a Sofirn SP36 (50mm diameter). Is the FT02 shipping with a shade?
