Where to get eneloop + charger?

From what I've read, none of them is really good because they dont follow the NiMH charging algorithm like BC700 and similar do.. therefore I'd buy the MQR06 because its the fastest. ;)

Oh, and for that price, you can get a BC700. Oopsie. :P

you are right thanks NightCrawl!!

the very best charger from the Sanyo NiMH charger series is the MQR06. It has 4(four) LED's!!!

costs 17.99$ shipped, please buy and use coupon code kreis*rap on your preferred shoping site :D

I thought the "the more LEDs, the better" was only valid for flashlights, but if you want to use that rule for a charger, I'm fine with that.. :P

BC700 is 23€ shipped from Germany.. ;)

i am wondering if the MQR06 (~18$) is a better purchase than the i4 V2 (19.xx$). the BC700 is out of line! :P

None of them chargers NiMH correctly, so if he might switch to LiIon, give him the i4.

But keep in mind that these Sanyo chargers are only good for Eneloops.

okay, will keep that in mind thx :)

i will suggest both chargers because they are priced similarly. If one uses exclusively Eneloops, then the MQR06 would be better imho. Because it charges faster!!

Would GP PowerBank Audio be OK for Eneloops

Actually the MQR06 follows correct charging algorithm for NiMH, with delta-V termination.
It also charges cells individually, and not in pairs. And here in Europe, MQR06 + four Eneloop XX bundle costs much less than the BC-700. :stuck_out_tongue:

Chargers and eneloops here:

6 dkr = 1$

Then it maybe was one of the smaller.. but here in Germany, the price for MQR06 + four Eneloops is the same as the price of a BC700. But the BC700 is much more useful. :P

within NightCrawl's country:

MQR06 + 0 Eneloop: 17.99US$ shipped (=14.19€)

MQR06 + 4xAA Eneloop: 22.50€ shipped

BC700 + 0 Eneloop: 22.95€ shipped

BC700 loses here. I win :P

True if you use Eneloop only. But I've got several other NiMH cells. :)

MQR06 actually works with any NiMH’s, I’m using it w/ my Sanyo 2700mAh’s, SoShine 2500mAh’s and Duracell 2650 mAh’s without any problems.

Yes, it works.. but not all cells are rated for a current of 1120mA. You could also charge Panasonic 3100mAh cells at 3A but they are rated for 870mA.

BC700 is superior to display-less chargers such as Sanyo, no doubt. My buddies a budgeteer that's why he declined the BC700. Chargers with display are quite fun to use btw!! And that's what our hobby is about:

fun

Wohow girls flashys just wanna have fun, some fuuuuuhuuuuuuuuhuhuuuuuuuun...

Well, I haven’t seen any high quality cells suffer from just 1120mA, and if you’re charging 4 cells at once that current is halved, so it’s even less of a problem. :Р

If ifs and ands were pots and pans there'd be no work for tinkers. :P

Just one question, the bc 700 appears to be made by la Crosse, amazon lists a UK version a bl 700 by “technoline” should I worry or not? The UK version is more desirable to me as I live in the UK and hate these stupid plug adaptors we are sometimes forced to use.

Technoline charger is basically renamed La-Crosse, it has same PCB & same specifications. You should be fine with it.
