Anyone got the SP10S blue and SP10pro blue? Is the anodizing similar? I no longer have my old SP10S blue but I remember it being light blue while the SP10pro is darker blue.
I might be misremembering the color though.

Hi, I have a ramp config question

  • 7H from ON has 3 ramp config options, while
  • 10H from OFF has 4 config options.

Did anyone discover this part? Does the option 4 has any meaning in the config simple mode ramp config menu?

I’m pretty satisfied with my SP10 Pro (version 2022_04_18), only this minor question remained. It took time for me to understand ramp speed (option 3) does not work for Simple mode, according to Toykeeper’s manual it’s inherited from Advanced. In some versions Option 4 (in the ramp config menu) is the speed parameter, but I learned that for SP10 Pro it is Option 3.

Good tip. I put glue directly on the solder joint after I soldered a wire directly to a pin on a ATTINY1634 to salvage the aux on a lume1 .

No, the MCU needs to be running, so it still consumes some mA. It might work for a day, but probably not much longer.

Mine appears to only draw ~1.3mA at lowest moonlight mode, so it would probable run several weeks. Not as long as Aux though.

Sticking to lowest ramp floor, with multimeter I get current draw:
3.5 mA with 1.2V cell
3 mA with 1.5V cell
1.3 mA with 3.7V cell
So in any case it would take few hundreds of hours do drain the cell. IMO still not long enough for always-on indicator light, but ocassionally I wouldnn’t hesitate to leave it on as a night light, as it won’t impact whole runtime too much.

800/1.3/24 = 25 days

When the flashlight is off the MCU can sleep as well.

What is the different between the current batch SP10V3.0 and SP10pro? Do they use diferent driver? or any other thing to be aware of?

Pro uses Anduril, V3 has Sofirn’s own UI.

I know that they use different UI/OS.

But what hardware driver did they use? Efficiency? Lower and highest mode differences?

I heard that there are problems in the early batch of SP10V3.0. Is the SP10V3.0 problem rectified? Is there a ny new problem surfacing?

I cannot find if this was mentioned, but the vapcell H10 flattop does not seem to work with my Sofirn SP10Pro. I just got one from Amazon. Maybe only button style 14500 work? there seems to be three gold conductors on the battery post of the positive terminal and they are close together. I may be missing something.

The outer two contacts are not connected electrically. They are a mechanical reverse voltage protection. A flat-top battery won’t make contact with the center contact, only the button of a button-top.
