【TS10V2 Al available】Wurkkos "slender waist" TS10v2 aluminum version available with black, green, orange

I’m a little curious as well, just from a general curiosity standpoint. Free-machining brass has more lead in it and these days you don’t see it very often in consumer-marketed products. Photos look like it’s just a tad roughly machined which might indicate hard brass but it could just be the operators in a rush (faster feed rates or speed, not swapping to sharp fresh tools, etc). I don’t know if RoHS compliance would apply here since it isn’t “electronics”, per se. Heat dissipation……brass of any type is never great, might be more of an issue on this particular light if you like to use it in turbo/top of ramp, but ya work with what ya got.

Thanks for the details…helps others to know sometimes. Sounds odd. Dumb question maybe since the head works on the other bodies, but threads are clean and clear, right? If you unscrew the head on your others a turn or so and press the switch, is that the same behavior you’re seeing on the MAO? And I suppose you know this already but to factory reset you need to be in advanced mode (batt check is an easy indicator…one time and stops, you’re in simple…continues the voltage readout sequence, you’re in advanced……or if you can’t change aux levels with 7 clicks, you’re in simple). With wonky electrical connection at the head sometimes it resets itself to simple mode.

I’ve just unpacked my new TS10 brass. Wow, I was really surprised by the packaging! New box with magnetic latch and the flashlight itself is vaccum-sealed! Just amazing.

is the button on the brass version also brass?

Yes, it is.

planning dark green

Threads are clean and clear.
Not same behavior.

The MAO head stays in Anduril2 when I decapitate/transplant it.

I’ll just have an extra head on hand. (I crack myself up)

Anyhow I’m expecting my Brass TS10 tomorrow or the next day.
4000k. Orange aux.

We need a cyan blue to match the MAO

When will the 3000k be available?

3000k and green auxiliaries kind sir

Got the TS10 Brass today. Really like it.

Fast delivery to Canada. Nice packaging.

4000k, orange aux.

Anduril 2.0 on start up. Lower moonlight is better.

Good job Wurkkos.

Wurkkos is getting directly involved with the problem I have with my MAO TS10. Looks like they are willing
to send me a new tail assembly. As I mentioned the head works fine.

Good customer service.

Yay! I look forward to your working MAO

I did a video comparing the TS10 with some other multiple LED flashlights , in case it is helpful for anyone.
On The Road M4,
Acebeam TK16,
Jaxman E3 (modified triple),
Eagtac D25C (modified triple),
Sofirn SP10 Pro (modified triple),
FWAA

I said the OTR M4 is a triple LED, but it has 4 leds. Nevermind that mistake, please.

Got my brass TS10 today! So pretty. I love it. Probably needless to say since this is my 4th TS10.
Good job Wurkkos! Such a beautiful light!

same!

1 Thank

WURKKOS, I’ve supported the brass ts10, through buying 2 of them.

Question, has the brass variant sold well enough to justify production of a copper version?

He said they will do copper after the brass version sells out. They don’t want to have too many simultaneous SKUs.
I guess they probably don’t want too much money tied up in inventory also.

JMHO, but Wurkkos has jumped through hoops to make this model with all the bells and whistles that were requested by the flashlight community at large. They have been responsive and active in resolving issues, both hardware and firmware, while eyeing an end goal of feasibilty/profitability. They alone have the foresight as to what advancements in materials and production will continue to optimize their investments in this product line. They have gone out of their way to make the TS10 as turnkey as possible, while providing an avenue for “modders” (to limited extent) or advanced users to upgrade the product to their liking. They have communicated what works, and doesn’t work with respect to its manufacture. If special editions, or additional exotic metals are warranted, I trust Wurkkos would be the best suited to bring it to market based on demand. For you Copper aficionados, I hope that comes to fruition.

To Wurkkos, thank you for your dedication to the input and feedback from the flashlight community. The TS10 is truly a ground breaking product, worthy of consideration as one of the best (if not the best) flashlights to be introduced in 2022.

I totally agree with this post. Wurkkos has been so impressive lately.
