Wrist watches. Post pics, if you EDC one!

My two regular wrist-watches: a 30-year-old Seiko, and a Casio. The latter can be recharged under strong sunlight or a flashlight.

I got this from Watchuseek today.

(This is the seller's photo.)

The watch is in excellent condition!

Japanese Seiko divers watch. Usually I’m a Swiss guy but this is my 2nd Seiko.

I just picked up a Zelos Abyss. This watch is super cool looking.

Great company. Great watch.

When I gave my Rolex two-tone Sub to my son, I picked up a Luminox Scott Cassell since I love the tritium markers. Currently awaiting a new battery and am wearing the Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust I bought in S.Vietnam while I was in stand-down from Fire Base Mahone to Dau Tieng. I recall it was a lot of money at the time, $175.00!

Wearing my trusty Yobokies Seiko Monster Mod.

I was pretty happy wearing my Longines V.H.P., but I saw this and had to have it! Marbled Carbon Fiber case, Titanium case back and bezel, Japan 9015 movement with an awesome sweep second hand at 28,800 bpm. I tried a few different straps, from black ti to shark, the Cayman Alligator wins hands down!

I adjusted the movement, am running a few seconds a day behind but will try to improve that.

Nice watch, Dale! I’m not familiar with the logo… what’s the brand?

How’d you adjust the accuracy yourself? I’ve done minor adjustments on my old CASIO digital watches, as the module features a trim screw you can move +/-. It’s a little tricky to do and there’s other factors to be mindful of, such as temperature and barometric pressure. I imagine there must be some equivalent method of adjustment for an analog quartz watch, but I’ve never learned about it.

This is an auto winder, I used a chronometer to time it then adjusted the bridge. It’s the smallest of movements, tricky to get spot on.

Maratac is the maker, County Comm. They do a lot of Titanium work and custom jobs as an Independent Contractor for the Gov.

Miyota 9015 movement.

Triple coated Swiss SuperLuminova hands and markers.

Bertucci a2t. My go to.

Love my Bertucci. Wear it everyday. Comfortable easy to read. Important for my aging eyes.

Got my eyeball on this one though. Finally shipping to the USA. Last time I checked they weren’t.

Won this in a auction for well below what they normally go for. Thought the seller would cancel or something weird like they normally do when they don’t get the price they want but, they didn’t. Got here super quick and works perfectly, so far.
