Probably many of you already know this but I just found out that the SP40 short tube fits on the SC31T head (just playing around with my recent purchases 
). It also fits on my CSTEBOKE SC31T head but that’s no surprised since it’s really a Sofirn light.
Maybe it’s time for me to buy some 18350 batteries since I only have a single 16340 for the short tube.
Yeh, they’re all cute with the shorty tubes.
But be careful with 18350s and high-strung lights. Hitting “turbo” on a light meant for beefy 18650s might have the poor ’350 screaming its head off in pain.
Yeah, high current 18350 are the minimum for these lights. Also be very careful with internal charging as it’s designed for larger cells with higher current. A 18350 will be charged with too high current.
Amp draw on turbo ~ 7A. Epoch 18350 9A 1100mAh or Keeppower UH1853P 10A 1200mAh…no problem. Run these in my SC31PRO (and other) shorts. Charged externally as necessary, but I did use OB charging once to test and it worked fine. YMMV.

Looking at Mooch’s site it appears that both are rewrapped YDL 18350D batteries so Epoch Batteries is the way to go. Too bad that they’re 20% more expensive at Amazon as I prefer buying from them whenever possible due to their return policy.
