Tough choice… On one hand its the fivemega 2x18500 FM1794 but on the other I’m very very pleased with my Hanks DW4 (519a 4500k dedomed and boost driver) and my Wizard C2 Pro Nichia.
Final Answer Wizard C2 Pro Nichia. Its not a cool as the DW4 but its the one I grab when the car needs repaired, the sink leaks or I’m heading up north. At least for now.
Wurkkos TS10 has my vote.
No lights purchased in 2022, so no winner.
Can I add a headlamp? My favourite and most useful 2022 light purchase was a Sofirn D25L “high CRI” version of their headlamp.
I have the same host. It is quite nice, just one sharpish edge on the machining.
But very welcome to see a 21700 p60 host being produced.
I went with the SST-40 quad 4000k drop-in. Quite a heavy setup with the larger battery. Only real gripe is the mode memory on the drop-in!!!
I want to know more about this finish, what is it?

also got a bunch of other lights including TS10 MAO which is great, but the c8+ takes the cake for me this time round.

It has to be Wurkkos TS10 for me this year. I ordered quite some lights this year but TS10 is great in most aspects.
Wurkkos TS32 is my favorite light of 2022.
