Fireflylite new fresh product--P01 14500 EDC Fliashlight available in stock now

I like that the metal button makes the light look very premium, and the matching button AUX makes it look even more premium. Magnet is awesome too.

I also like and appreciate that you came and shared these pictures with us, directly. So thank you for that and welcome to BLF. Hopefully the welcome gets a little more respectful from here.

The original PL47 was such a steaming pile of doo-doo, Fireflies went to the top of my do-not-buy list.
These new lights got my attention. I like big buttons, warm emitters, magnetic tails, and any anodize color that’s not black. But that goofy non-ramping UI is a deal breaker. Looks like Fireflies is staying on my do-not-buy list.

LOVE IT!

Simple UI is great. Not everything wearing Anduril is desired

I kind of like the overall design of the body. The switch area is a bit big with sharp edges but the bigger size might help with grip and ergonomics. I very much appreciate the presence of lighted switch as well as AUX leds.

I dont see anything mentioned about controlling the AUX leds. Does it have high, low, blink modes like anduril ?

I like the design though wish it used 18650 (making the tube thicker). It’s like cars - some love Cadillacs others prefer BMW.

I agree. I personally don’t NEED Anduril on every single light. But one thing I always miss is a ramping UI when I pick up one of my Acebeam’s, Convoy’s or Nightwatch’s. So it’s not a deal breaker in this case for me, but it is something that helps a ton when Anduril isn’t available. It just feels like a proper enthusiast light when it has ramping, regardless of the rest of UI. This light is pretty damn slick IMO, and still has tons to love.

This is the P01. There is a P02 & P03 due in a few days too, (I think) both are “throwers”. One is 18350, the other is 18650. I think it’s Osrams, SST20’s and 519A’s as emitter options, maybe more. But this is the 14500 light of the 3 P-Zero series models.

It’s a good simple UI. Though it doesn’t say what type of thermal regulation (if any), is it a step down or a PID regulation ?

But people are going to comment on how the light looks to them, of course. I find the switch protrusion a bit ridiculous, sure a lot of small flashlights have a protruding switch, but this isn’t good in my opinion, it should be like on Zebralights, recessed into the head.

I like the single click access to strobe (once the strobe mode has been enabled). Best of both worlds. Sadly, for light painters, it would be better in a tail switch light.

Link?

I want to apologize if it was rude from me any reaction, since I was the first person to reply and I didn’t welcome you!
So, welcome, Ivy! :+1:

Concerning the flashlight, I like the general lines and ideia for the head, but it honestly seems to bulky, regarding the body.

As for the rest, well, aux leds seem good as long as they a) can be deactivated and b) don’t drain a battery all of a sudden.

I also think that the UI is simple and can be interesting to use, although it has some things that need to be experimented to check how practical it is.

The colours are vibrant. I assume that we cannot mix aux led colours with the different coloured bodies, right? (ex: black body, orange aux)

Overall, the head is what messes really hard with my appreciation, since I was expecting something slimmer. The rest, we will see.

It’s at the bottom of the first comment.

Alright, let's check that orange 519 2700k dedomed...

I like big buttons and I cannot lie… Site is up but won’t accept payment.

Great, more for us.
You just convinced me to buy 1 of each.

According to the UI diagram you can go from medium to high… and then you are stuck on high? There is no way to get back to medium ?

Either the diagram is wrong or the UI is dumb.
