Thanks Bonham, indeed that’s great stuff. Metallica’s version live in lots of locations hits that note too. Eric bell and the late Gary Moore do one as old folks, a long time after Lynotts passing, that is very good as well, (excepting Bell not hitting the rhythem when he sings, his guitar is topnotch LOL) Moore’s happiness shines.
I listened to Nazareth as late as yesterday, CUZ of course i have a couple of their albums in my car, yesterday was Hair of the dog.
On the way home i listened to Supertramp and the double live Paris album, a album i consider one of the best live recordings, and i am no fan of live albums
Talented songwriter Tim Hardin came back from a stint with the Marines in vietnam with a monkey on his back. He died much too soon due to it. But not before he left us some gems.
Here he’s singing “Reason To Believe”, written by Tim and made famous by Rod Stewart.
I searched the thread, but didn’t see New Fast Automatic Daffodils, later known as NewFads. Worst name ever, taken from an automobile advertisement and a Wadsworth poem.
But I’ve listened to a lot of music (I’m 64) and they are one of the best bands I’ve ever listened to. Their music is available on the common services.
When I was a pip-squeak growing up in Bulgaria and later I never heard for this group.
I found them now, but you can post their favorite song/s for you.
