Always been a toss-up for me between the LG HG2 and the Samsung 30Q.
Samsung 30Q used in a bunch of lights but mostly hot rods like D4v2

Samsung 30Q’s in a Q8- holds charge well when the light sits awhile.
I like the Samsung 30Q because I get them free. Anything I have that uses an 18650 has them in it.

30Q with 35E a close second. 35E in a Zebralight SC64 is a great combination.
My favorite battery is the Samsung 30q in my FW3A.

Performance favorite: Molicel p42a. I have several in a few different lights.

The Panasonic 3500 button top, currently 3 of them in my Fenix LD60.

I am a big Samsung 30Q and 40T fan. Although I am currently rocking the Molicel P42A in my Sofirn IF25A EDC, and thoroughly enjoy the overall performance when hot rodding around in turbo.
