Show off your collection! *pics*

Welcome to BLF Lawnmowerman! Damn fine collection.... It looks like you found a couple of models you're fond of and stuck with it. That's never a bad thing...

Aloha and welcome to BLF Lawnmowerman! You've got quite the collection of flashlights there. Very nice.

Needs more space for a good group shot , but here are most of them ...

Another shot another day , ill need to find a better location , and a better angle ...

Very nice collection old. How many SolarForce do you have now? Also, how many total?

Trust me , I didnt count ... Im not sure I want to know .. Solarforce = 15+ [ 16 or 17 ] ???

Wow , nice collection !

Most of those lights have batteries in them and are ready to rock n roll . [ 90% + ]

Ok , better angle ....

Ok , my small collection , and no blocking ...

Missing is my car light , + the SS ITP [ forgot the little ITP ]

Back line after the Skyline 1 is all Solarforce , only 17 .

Hmmm , how many flashlights do I have ?

Only 66 showing (I guess 68 total with the missing two). Not even in the triple digit club yet... Don says hurry up and buy more, he needs company

Damn, that's nuts. Did you do this while the missus was away so as to avoid any inconvenient family "interventions"?

Whats a missus ?

I showed Old4570's collection to my missus. She said if I buy that many she is leaving. lol

I don't have the biggest or the best collection but I do have the Best Background. Cool

haha you definitely win for best background. And that still ain't a bad collection! Very nice lights!:D

I just imagine people walking past, wondering what in the hell you are doing posing a bunch of flashlights for photos near the ocean ;)

edit: is that the solarforce lantern attachment? how does it work. I am curious about it for camping use.

Thanks. Funny you mentioned the people because they kept walking and driving past me wondering what the hell I was doing. They just kept circling around me over and over trying to get a better look. Laughing

About the lantern attachment: just remove the bezel and screw in the lantern. I've used it on the patio at night with friends while drinking beers and it isn't all that bright but does an ok job I guess. It does impress my friends though.

As for camping use, it should work just fine in and around the tent or even using it around the campground. The cool thing is that you just unscrew the lantern and you have a regular flashlight. I can't wait to see how much brighter it is when my XML gets here.

OMG...look at those lights...I'm years away from those collection. Which is your best light, old4570 and fishinfool?

The XM-L rule the roost for power ...

4 Solarforce hosts with XM-L emitters and one Ultrafire A20 XM-L

My N-light AAA 3 mode , I swapped out the electronic tail clicky for a regular reverse clicky , works a treat now ..

So many to chose from , output is not everything ...

My Ultrafire RL 168 [ SSC P4 ] 14500 , is a fav [ 3 mode ]

My A20 SSC P7 is very nice [ all flood ]

My 502B SSC P7 = still a very nice light ..

Just too many nice ones ...

LOL. Good thing this isn't a gun forum then. ;)

Great thread, by the way. I just realized I have lights stashed away in a million and one places but I have surprisingly few pictures of them. And by that, I mean practically none, except the stuff already posted on DX.

You know you are a flashaholic when:

You buy a new camera to take photos of the innards of torches....

;)

LOL Fishinfool! I love it. You know you're a flashaholic when...

- You take your flashlights for a beach vacation in Hawaii!

Definitely nice.

Old4570-

Sorry, "missus" is slang for wife. Btw, I've always meant to tell you good choice on your screen name. A 405gr hardcast bullet @ 1800fps works amazingly well on some of the larger hogs around here

Oooo, herro fellow. I'm into broadcasting but on the FM side, been an fcc engineer (for whatever that's worth) and WELL into broadcast audio processing for better part of a decade now.

If you wanna sound like God on the air, check this out: http://www.ceaudio.com/ an audio processor I'm involved with. Effortlessly competes with the latest offering from Omnia and totally destroys the Orban 8600, for a price that's about as cheap as it can be without losing money selling it. It does support asymmetric clipping too, if you have a DC-straight audio card to output it from. Like a Marian Trace Alpha.

Stop by the forums. There's some pretty decent 'ham' setups running it now, including a 1,000,000 watt ERP directional outside of salt lake city. Another proper use for the term "flame thrower". ;) Cheers.
