ShiningBeam Blaze $30

Blaze for ~ $30 Scratch and Dent!

Don’t forget to use “blfuser” code for more $$$ off. So $ 30.00 delivered for a small and bright light!

Thanks, got one

Well, great light for that price, but… would be great to see a pic of those “scratches & dents”

Agree. Hehe. Dont get why its been typed out at all.

I guess I know what purchase I’m making on thursday, then.

I guess I know what purchase I’m making on thursday, then.

I hate dents and scratches…lol

F U ALL !!!
Phones are hard to type no

Now I examined the Blaze expecting damage. No flaws whatsoever, exactly as my others.

Took apart and found the “flaw”. The battery spring in the head was leaning, enough to notice but nothing I haven’t seen in other budget lights. Operates as expected.

So a spring tilted reduces price by 50%.

Damned this forum!

Third deal posted here in two weeks I just couldn´t resist… I know, I´m weak…

ordered.

Just ordered one as well. I wish it was P60 drop in compat but it is no big deal.

Can someone explain the UI? It says twist head to set modes but there is a clicky. It also has memory. I am buying to mount on my shotgun so I want it to come on in high with momentary forward clicky everytime. Can it just be set to high by tightening the head?

The way I understand it, the clicky is only for on/off, so a forward clicky is ok for a multi mode light (for me a forward clicky is a dealbreaker for ordinary multi mode lights). Changing modes is done by loosening and tightening the head quickly like you would with a twisty light.
So when you turn it on, you can have the memorized mode in momentary. Even strobe

If that is true, that will just fine. It is IXP-8 waterproof and seems built well enouh to handle the recoil of a 12ga. A 12ga has a lot of recoil but it is a slower recoil not a sharp crack like a rifle so I don’t expect any issues. I currently have a Jetbeam BA10 on it with 14500 battery.

The clicky on the Blaze also works with a “soft press” for momentary on.

Perfect, that’s what I was hoping for. Even at only $30, it is one of the more expensive lights I have bought recently. It’s shocking what you can get for $15 now.

its always a lottery as to quality, etc. but, wow, there are some really good deals out there. it will probably get even better too. dangerous for flashaholics.

I have been buying more lights in the past two months than any time in the past. Is it just me or are there a bunch of great deals right now? Seems like a few months back there wasn’t much to write home about and now everyday brings a deal I can’t pass up. I am trying not to buy the Uniquefire Z5 for $12 from DD. I just don’t need it so I think I can hold off on that one.

ShiningBeam is not like a lottery, you an count on their lights being great quality.
