DO NOT & I repeat DO NOT close the PayPal dispute until after you have received the refund. PayPal’s system does not block refunds or communication between buyer & seller. E-mail them back and tell them you will not close the dispute until after you have received the refund.

Here is my experience with Tmart. I purchased a light, shipped quickly from their USA branch too. Let me state first off, I am a novice, don’t know how to fix
even the smallest problem with a flashlight. With that said, the light stopped working after 4 days… I contacted Tmart’s customer service, got an apology, and I was emailed a
mailer to return the defective light. In addition, I was given the choice of a full refund or a new replacement. I opted for the replacement light.

About 3 days later, I get the replacement light. A couple days later the same thing happened with this new light. Stopped working. Okay, I did a little research and found out that others that had this
light ran into the same problem. I tracked it down to a loose spring. I contacted Tmart customer service, and AGAIN, they gave me an apology, offered a full refund, or another unit.

My researched turned up the fault of a loose spring. I worked with that, and the light got better, not 100% but better…I told the customer service, that I will try to work with the light and get it fixed. Tmart customer service assured me that if I wasn’t satisfied, let them know, and a full refund would be forthcoming… Come to find out the light was changing modes when I hit a bump on my bike. After researching that, it was tracked down to the cell moving around. I was instructed to put tape on the cell. That worked.

Also, Tmart periodically checked back with me to see if I was satisfied. They also asked me what did I do to fix the light, so they could pass that on to other users who had that same light and same problem. In reading this thread, I see other posters have had an OPPOSITE experience from Tmart’s customer service… Can’t tell what that is about, all I can do is comment on my experience with Tmart. IMO, their customer service is so good, that everytime I go to buy a light, I checked their website first, to see if have what I want, at the price that I want.

BTW, Sherry Ye, is the customer agent who handled my case… IMO, the best of the best…

My experience with Tmart is more/less positive as well.

I’ve ordered an item that ended up unavailable without any ETA. Managed to work out a replacement item. It did take quite a while, but everything ended up well.

I live in Europe, so I was depending on the China warehouse. If you are not prepared to wait in case of a backordered item, or need to negotiate something with customer service, skip them.

If you have patience, they are great.

Personally I think they deserve to have that AVOID rating removed. I’d deal with them again. Probably will if I find something I want from them.

Welcome to the club, camil h!

Made an order with Tmart after I found a group buy thread on here (the ultrafire G4 MCU) I also ordered two ultrafire 18650s as I only owned a bunch of AA lights and a 16350 light up to this point. My order arrived today (it was fast) and the light works great but instead of two ultrafire batts I got one ultrafire and one (dead) unbranded 18650. I contacted Sherry on here and she has already fixed the problem and is having the right battery shipped.

So,

Pros:
blazing fast shipping
pretty good selection
pretty good to very good prices
good customer service experience

Cons:
wrong item shipped and it was dead too
web site didn’t want to upload my pictures for the RMA (or whatever it is called) claim.

I will order from Tmart again as I believe in second chances and given the speed of shipping and prices, a few errors along the way doesn’t discourage me too much.

Can't decide if the "avoid" label is justified or not. Shipping on my last order was relatively fast but my "new" HD2010 looks like an old, used flashlight (all scratched up, ano worn off everywhere) and, I now see it can be had cheaper elsewhere. Works great so I'm not going to make an issue out of it but I won't be using Tmart again. When I order a new product I expect it to be new.

Also, people with a post count of one that barge into a room YELLING are douche bags.

I gave them a try & purchased 2 T-fire 1500 (fast shipping)that looked good but after 5/6 charges they will now only charge to 3.90v. I”ll stick with American vendors or those that have ‘recommend’ from BLF. They do sound like they are trying to fix it but I just don’t trust the products are genuine.

Ms. Ye and Mr. Hung,

I am dissatisfied after your site did not process my order for a Trustfire Z8 but managed to take my money not once but twice!

I was charged twice plus your system is telling me it did not complete the transaction! No order number or anything. What kind of scam are you guys running? I sent a message to Sherry about it and also your customer service. This is the first time I tried to make a purchase and it’s horrible.

Dear gloomywarfreak,

Sorry for the inconvenience we caused .
I have got your message , Would you please inform me the time, amount, date and the Transaction ID,so that I can ask our finance man to check it for you .
please don’t worry,if we really have charged your money,we will refund to you .

And God above as our witness know just how great of rating they have here and how they lie and deceive their customers on a daily basis.

Replied to your email Sherry. Thanks for looking into it.

+1 Sherry Tmart

Have to give them credit though, they have customer service (Sherry) that is willing to help.

I have had no problems ordering from Tmart and if I have a question about anything they respond quickly. It looks to me that they correct errors quickly also not like some other company’s. I give Louis and Sherry an A+

Sherry is indeed very nice and helpful to handle my complaint however TMART has already taken $15 from me and there’s NO WAY to make me attempt another transaction with them and throw out another $15, just to give them a screenshot.

Sorry TMART you just lost another customer.

My order was just marked as shipped at 12:00 in the morning. :P Happy though as this means I will have it in a few dyas. :D

I’m sorry, but that is a very odd first post on a flashlight forum.

Just how/where did they post YOUR billing information online? Please explain, the entire post does not make a lot of sense. How would Tmart send you a phishing email or virus (they are not the same thing, phishing emails do not contain viruses, they contain links to fake sites).

And please explain without using all caps, as that makes it seem like you are YELLING at us all here, it is very uncomfortable.

I did order an HD 2010 from T-mart yesterday (after not ordering any new torches for over 60 days!). It is my first order with them for over a year, since I got a green laser from the USA warehouse. That went well, I’ll let you know how this one goes.

Dear gloomywarfreak,

I am sorry for the inconvenience caused .For this issue,I really have asked our finance man to check it again and again.
But we still can’t find your transaction information .I think you didn’t placed the order successfully .If yes,you will received an order confirmation .Like I said, you can contact your bank.If we really charged your card,we will refund to you .
Thanks for your support and patience in advance.
Feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

Best regards,
Sherry

I have had 3 orders from Tmart that arrived before my tracking was updated. 2 days! Granted I’m in eastern PA and they shipped from NYC via Streamlite. Streamlite is no longer in business as of 6/14/12 so my current order is being shipped via USPS. Wonderful. (Sarcasm implied) No problems and I find they are my best resource for 2 day (pending) shipping versus possible months via Hong Kong/China post.

From what I am hearing about this dispute, it goes like this, and correct me if I am wrong!

1. camil h ordered something from Tmart for $5.01 (or somewhere around that amount) and it was shipped out. However, after it was shipped, camil h sent in a change of address, but Tmart had already shipped to the orginal address. I think this is where a lot of the confusion got started. Tmart explained that they couldn’t change address after it was shipped.

After that, things went haywire, maybe on both sides. camil h started posting on websites his ire on this transaction. Tmart on the other hand, refund the money, offered another refund, and for him to pick something of the same value, I think he refused. To add more fuel to the runaway fire, Tmart makes the mistake of posting his real shipping info online. Not cool, and obviously a mistake on Tmart’s part. Also, I think they admitted that was a mistake and not done on purpose.

At this point, and judging from the 1st post screaming post, things have got out of hand. People, just like companies all at sometime or another are going to make mistakes, we all know that. However, there are ways to go about handling problems. They are mistakes, period.

Now, I am hoping that camil h responds to my post, and make any corrections in what I have posted. No need to be running around screaming, let’s get to a solution.

Just the 2 cents of an old geezer…
