Ultrafire C3 AA Stainless Steel Q5 <$10 on ebay

Ultrafire C3 AA Stainless Steel Q5 <$10
Looks like a batch of cheapies:
At least two vendors have Probably the same vendor has these under $10
eg
http://www.ebay.com/itm/180918020072
http://www.ebay.com/itm/200786715983

Usual disclaimers, ymmv etc…

Edit: I ordered two, I am missing a C3 that never arrived from December last year.
Looking through the rest of the vendor’s stuff, I never knew I needed so many things,
just in case I decide to disassemble one of my watches, for example.

It’s a nice price, but both sellers exclude a lot of countries (most european countries include Germany - so I couldn’t buy it).

thanks for the link ...

Everyone likes stainless steel lights ..10$ is the right price on these .. :p

In for a pair as well

Thanks for the heads-up! Ships to Finland => Ordered two.

@Buwuve: Do you want me to buy some to you too? Shipping should not be more than 2-3e..

Edit: 2-3e makes it unattractive, since DX sells it for $12.50

Thank you for the opportunity
It’s a nice flashlight (I give some away as a present at Christmas) and maybe I will buy some more this year (price is $11,03 if I buy 3 on DX), if the currency rate is better (Euro -> US Dollar).

I’ve just got one - 12 days from China.
It’s 92mm long with another 2 mm for the rubber clicky cap.
It weighs 72 grams (+21 grams for a 14500).
It’s 3 mode: high, not so high, and epileptic.
Works fine with a 14500 and gets warm quickly.

Got mine today. I'm happy with the quality: Both work well and the finish is flawless. Great light for the price!

I received it today too.
Nice inox flashlight!

The tailcap protrudes a bit, making them unsuitable for pocket carry.

I’ve given mine away, so have ordered a few more. Looks like they’re running out in some stores.

@Buwuve - This listing doesn’t not ship to Germany: www.ebay.com/itm/New-Ultrafire-C3-Stainless-Steel-AA-CREE-Q5-LED-torch-flashlight-5-mode-/271017556337

After thinking about Alkaline AA battery leakage,

I’m going to use Lithium AAs in these.

“never leak” according to this thread : Alkaline leakage

Thank you Suncoaster - I will order one or two.

I think these felt cheaper than the last ones i'd had ..seems like the older ones were thicker and heavier. I bought them for someone else so it really doesn't matter I was just curious if anyone else felt the same thing .For the price they are still nice lights .

decent price. just ordered one !

Do these have good/working memory? Still turn on w/ AA’s after using 14500’s for a while?

My last one was five modes with 2 min “memory”, and now lithium-only only after using 14500’s for a while. Good build quality, though.

These have no memory. If the light has been turned off more than 10s, it starts on high. Modes are ordered as high-low-strobe -> you don’t have to see the strobe if you are patient enough…

Yes, that light was on .com.au.
I just removed the .au and it came up.

I notice that I can see more/different stuff in .com or .com.sg or .co.uk

If I’m after something rare I’ll search them all, plus non english ones.

I’ve used one with both 14500 and alkalines,
how long does it take before it’s 14500 only ?

I can’t really say for sure, but after a while of irregular use on 14500 it just stopped working on AA (maybe only 1hr total). But seems like this one has a different driver (no memory) so might not apply here.

Can anybody verify if you actually get over 300+ lumens out of this keychain light?

quoting myself… :stuck_out_tongue:

Too big for a keychain light - compare it to a Tank007 E09
which is: 19 grams including a 10440 cell, and 70mm.

Maybe 300 FCL, not 300 lumens

*FCL= Fake Chinese Lumens a new designation for Lumens created specifically for Budget Light Forum for converting Chinese claimed Lumens to actual Lumens.
1 Lumen = 1.7403 FCL approximately, and may vary from one light to another.
