New XM-L Light,, 26650/18650/4xAAA Good Price and 57mm head ......... NOTE: The star is solid aluminium !!!

This looks similar in size to the UF HD2010.

If anyone has both, could you please show pics of the two side-by-side?

I have the HD2010 and don’t want another torch so similar.

Since no one has one of these yet here is the next best thing:

It’s only half the price of the Ultrafire HD2010, you might as well get it, you could always sell it on easy.

I can’t pass up a deal like that, just ordered me one.

I ordered one. I was ordering a fm modulator and it just happened…. It’s Ebay’s fault for putting the “add to cart” button on there!

Cool if this is still up this friday then i might just pick one up for a work light……

I think I’m gonna have to get one as well.

I have bought from this seller before. I can tell you he sells good stuff from what I got in the past. I’m pretty sure that’s the same exact seller who sold me that gold band UltraOK Q5 light that threw so well.

Wow, these are going fast! Might as well do Buy It Now since he’s declined every offer so far.

I know he’s added more to this listing because there’s now 47 available at 29 sold when the other day it was something like 29 available at 9 sold.

I payed £9.99 +£0.99 shipping.

How much have you payed in $.

On ebay.com it’s about $19.94 including shipping.

Yeah, around $19 Canadian

Edit::: actually $17.86 Canadian

Guys, theoretically, how good of a thrower could this be?
Compared to other similar lights that cost more or to something like this:

Depending on the output it should out throw 3 of the 4 links you posted.
The Q5 can’t doll out 400 lumens. The aspheric lenses are too small to make those real thowers. And the XML thrower you posted has a smaller diameter head. If the origional posted light is run at 3 amps it might be able to out throw all 4. It’ll be interesting to see if it’s even 80% as throwy as the UF2010, that’s 40k lux.

Thanks!
Im curious about this light since Im not yet into Li chemistry batt’s and this one has an option of 4xAAA which could make it good entry light for me to potentially move into 18650/26650 realm or at least show me how much of a thrower I can get for less than 20$ and run it off regular NiMh batteries.

I assume that with 4xAAA it should be considerably brighter than SK68 and out throw it easily?

Either way, Cyclone C88 is a bit expensive for me at the moment and Im still not convinced about DX 3xAA Aurora’s performance numbers so Im looking at this new light with big deal of hope for a multiple NiMh starter light :D!

How2, I paid the same as you, I’m only a few hundred miles north though

Trying to resist . . . trying to resist . . .

Still resisting (so far),

It should be good on 4 aaa, and it’ll be even brighter on 18650 or 26650

I am tempted by this one, and also by this one at manafont ( http://www.manafont.com/product_info.php/small-sun-zyt16-xml-t6-5mode-1200lumen-led-flashlight-black-1226650-p-10725?rp=393554 ) with a 63mm head, it should throw quite a bit.

But I will have to resist, as I am waiting for another deal with an HID, and I am at least trying to have no more than one light on the way.

I’m holding out on this one… at 57mm diameter, I think its right around the same diameter as the MXDL-SA76 turbohead clone which also measures 57mm across. I would expect Lux values to be 40-50K, but that all depends on the drive current. Lately the single XML Chinese budget designs have all been very good from a thermal design standpoint. I would be surprised if this light has a spring floating drop-in.

I mist admit, the 4xaa for a gift if it’s not good put me over the top.
