Depending on the output it should out throw 3 of the 4 links you posted.
The Q5 can’t doll out 400 lumens. The aspheric lenses are too small to make those real thowers. And the XML thrower you posted has a smaller diameter head. If the origional posted light is run at 3 amps it might be able to out throw all 4. It’ll be interesting to see if it’s even 80% as throwy as the UF2010, that’s 40k lux.
Thanks!
Im curious about this light since Im not yet into Li chemistry batt’s and this one has an option of 4xAAA which could make it good entry light for me to potentially move into 18650/26650 realm or at least show me how much of a thrower I can get for less than 20$ and run it off regular NiMh batteries.
I assume that with 4xAAA it should be considerably brighter than SK68 and out throw it easily?
Either way, Cyclone C88 is a bit expensive for me at the moment and Im still not convinced about DX 3xAA Aurora’s performance numbers so Im looking at this new light with big deal of hope for a multiple NiMh starter light :D!
I’m holding out on this one… at 57mm diameter, I think its right around the same diameter as the MXDL-SA76 turbohead clone which also measures 57mm across. I would expect Lux values to be 40-50K, but that all depends on the drive current. Lately the single XML Chinese budget designs have all been very good from a thermal design standpoint. I would be surprised if this light has a spring floating drop-in.
Ditto. TopofKing is a great seller. Have bought repeatedly from him. Always super service in sending replacements for items damaged in transit. Top-notch.
