Is there a flashlight that can throw longer than the HD2010 and cost max $50?
stl-v6 or stl-v2 ?
I don’t have a UF 2010. But I do have a FandyFire STL-V6. I can tell you personally I have some of the best XM-L thrower lights produced so far, and only maybe 2 will out throw the FandyFire STL-V6. For I think a little less than $46 shipped to your door, I know of no other flashlight for the money that will beat it.
You’re not going to get better than 45k-50k lux with an xml thrower. But if you were to up your budget you could get an aspheric thrower, it’s like the sipik sk68 when fully focused. You can get 75k lux from those easy up to 90k possibly. Or if you didn’t care about size and if you had $75 you could buy a 75watt hid ebay light which i’m sure throws very far.
An OEM stock Stanley fatmax spotlight will out-throw STL-V2, Fandy V6. It will out-throw my 3.5A modded HD2010, by a slight but noticeable amount.
I have modded my fatmax with a T5-5000K emitter, and 3.4A driver. My HD2010 is running T6-6000K emitter at 3.5A. I have no way to measure this but just looking at the physical designs I also speculate the fatmax has a higher internal resistance between the battery and through its switch. The XML in my Stanley doesn’t even get hot, and it seems to stay slightly cooler than the emitter in the HD2010. So by all accounts my HD2010 is driving its T6 at a higher current. Despite that, the Stanley beats it for spot lux intensity and will out-throw the HD2010 by a slight but noticeable amount.
The images below should be treated as stepped down exposures to highlight spot intensities. In reality both lights have a nicely spilling side-flood.
Not true, the stanley fatmax spotlight will top 50K. Buy how much though is debatable, as its not as straight forward as pointing the light at a meter and reading the lux.

I forgot to mention that I don't like much aspherics... the FatMax is a bit big (although I wouldn't rule it out)... between the V6 & V2 which throws longer?
stl v6 and stl v2 are two different brands, fandyfire and skyray but they are the same light exactly as far as I can tell
I have both… they are almost identical in light output.
Yeah Stanley definitely named it appropriately. Its not fun pack carrying it, at least its not too heavy.
While at Walmart today I saw a rather interesting spotlight I may purchase since I can't find the fatmax. It is listed as 112kcd for 50 dollars. The downside is it does not have a rechargeable battery so I will be stuck running it off of an external battery.

Hard to beat a BIG-OL’ 12V incan to affordably get you north of 1500 OTF Lumens…. and a crap load of Lux too.
Double check it though, PCC showed me his Brinkman and it was a proprietary seal-beam headlamp. So you couldn’t open it up and replace the incan lamp with an H1/H2…etc. I still have a 55W Coleman incan spotlight from the mid-80s. It plugs into a cigarette lighter port.
It was only 1200 lumens. :'( Not sure whether I should get it as I already have another Incan spotlight. Of course that one is only in the 75k lux range...
I just purchased a FatMax HID. This thing is amazing and oblitrated a few of my LED throwers out the box. What mods will this Stanley HID take? I need a little direction
Maybe a Solarforce Masterpiece Pro 1? XRE is ment to be a thrower.
I have a FandyFire, a SmallSun and a Tk41. HD2010 is on the way. They all look like they have the same reflector. TK41 $120 was a thrower, then I saw FandyFire $45 could do the same for half the money, and then I found my Small Sun which could throw almost the same for ~$24 
if I had a lux meter I could make a proper comparison. But I think they all share the same capabilities, with the same emitter and the same reflector sizes. Only driver currents count then, but as far as I’ve seen many times a max for a light is for a few minutes only.
All good till one with a different emitter, XML2 or such, arrives.
When I was at Lowes yesterday I was trying to decide whether I should get that for 60 dollars or the XM-L one for 30. I ended up going for the XM-L which does 110kcd by my measurements.

Scaru - I paid for $45.00 for an open box FatMax HID.I checked it out and this unit was never powered up. Im actually riding over there today , my brother loved it.
ILF - When i first read comparisons of the Stanley lights i blew them off. I really underestimated this particular FatMax HID. Once it warms up it throws a hot spot that could very likely beat some of my best throwers, Jetbeam, Ultra-fire, even Surefire... Ouch...ok, that hurt. Its true..Lights don't lie.. Quality is so-so. Cant compete with some of the high grade anodizing and its not built to last. The performance on the other hand sorta makes up for the crap build. If you want to review it i'll throw it in the mail? Ok the Fat Max is the LED version that says 2000 lumens on the package.
Here are the HID ones.
