I really think you need to look at SF’s HA, I not overly impressed with 6P’s a Solarforce L2P is definitely a great cheap alternative to the 6P.
PS I resent the Grunta remark, I call it the way I see it (which seems to rub some members up the wrong way), I’m a big boy and can make up my own mind.
Your bujowski comment was wasted on me, I’m not familiar with the term and Google was no help.
I own a few Solarforce ‘L’ (I like the L2P the most) series lights and a ton of Surefires (65+). I like both but there are major differences between the two manufacturers. Surefire has a lifetime warranty for starters. I see folks slamming the P6. Keep in mind that the P6 (the one everybody has copied for years) is the bottom of the line for Surefire. Entry level, if you will, for Surefire lights. 20 years ago it was known as the 6P and had NO competitors. It is still a darn good light. Top of the line would be the Hellfighter 4. Yes, they are expensive but everybody’s “budget” is different.
I’m not going to say that the Surefire lights are the best at everything. Some are and some are not. I will say that I have never had one I didn’t like and didn’t keep in the collection. I can’t say that about any of the other manufacturers I have purchased from. Excluding some custom builders ($$$:money_mouth_face: that I have also spent money on to feed my sickness.
I have purchased many inexpensive lights (lots of good information here on them) based on members experience and for the most part, I have been pretty happy with most of them. Some, not so much. They get given away. The great thing about lights is that there is something for everybody. No matter what the price. Enjoy.
No Surefire tattoo - Yet. I could use a Surefire neon light though! If anybody finds one, let me know.
I like Surefire stuff, so I buy it. They make great weapon accessories too. I buy them too. If you don’t like Surefire, yep - you guessed it, don’t buy it. Couldn’t be simpler.
Me either . . . but now that I think about it odds are it is some kind of personal service based on the vowel sounds. Maybe like a legit, professional massage with a . . .
We're just a bunch of rude, aging men with an opinion. Nothing wrong with freinds mixing it up a little every once in a while. I'm probably one of the few people to admit that the only reason I have only one Surefire (the bottom one) is because I can't afford 100 of them.
And, you're right; I am not at all impressed with the 6P.
