Review: Trustfire Mini-01

Here’s a beamshot of my Mini-01 running on a 3.2v LifeP04. Ill try a beamshot using a 3.7v 16340 later and see if the difference comes through in the photo’s.

Nice one, Matt! :cowboy_hat_face:

Cheapest is $16.22? I think easylightbuy has it for $15.05 with free shipping anywhere.

I confirm the 15.05 + free shipping at easylightbuy.com.
Should somebody contact them and ask for an offer?

Still haven’t received mine. Easylightbuy gave me a tracking number which shows it hasn’t left China. I mentioned this to Jacky, their sales rep, who checked with China Post, and said it was on its way. That was a fortnight ago. He promised to send another if I don’t get it in 35 days, but that is looking increasingly unlikely.

Not sure what to do - even if another is sent after 35 days, I won’t get it within the 45 day Paypal dispute period.

Any thoughts?

And of course, it arrives the next day

Nice light, heavier than I thought, but threads need a good clean & greasing. I’m a happy bunny again.

Now, where’s that Klarus MiX6 Au from Dino that was allegedly sent on the 6th

Good to hear, ordered mine yesterday J)

Good to hear it arrived.

I found that once cleaned and greased the threads were great with no battery installed, but i think the pressure from the spring is pushing the cell into the head and causing friction on the threads as they turn, so the operation still isn’t as smooth as i’d like. Pushing the head into the body as you turn helps.

Same?? Or not?

Looks the same but chances are you will just receive a coin. :P

I think its the same light.
I’ve seen them listed from 280 lumens upto 1000 lumens.

I bought one 2 days ago. The seller has good feedback. I’m willing to take the chance at that price. We’ll know in 3-4 weeks of it’s the same or not. I was just about to come here to tell you guys about this seller. I bet the price doesn’t stay this low for very long.

darn, i was gonna buy one too. he removed it from his listing already

I got mine from here . Took a long time, but don’t think that was the sellers fault - they did ship it pretty quickly. Lots of geographic restrictions (no Germany??), arranged non alphabetically to make it a pain to look through.

The light came in a clam shell package, with a CR123. Only $9.03AU. Oh, and it’s 3 mode - H-L-Strobe, not 5 in description title (description in body of sellers details correct).

Edit>> Sorry, I’m confused - I’m taking about different light (C3, AA). I’ll take my medication and have a lie down. Well, it is warm in London today.

Look what I found in his feed back comments regarding a differnt product.

“Wanted more money after the auction. At least money back.

Sorry, set wrong price, have refunded you fully”

Now it looks like there’s a chance he might not ship the light. I’ve recived positive feed back from him already but the light is still not marked as shipped yet.

is this good one or copy ?

The stainless steel C3 looks good to me - takes 14500 OK, and is 93mm long.

The Mini-01 looks OK too - that came in the clamshell pack, without any dings or scratches, with a CR123. Not bad for $9, just a little tough to operate one handed with the threads. Can’t get a Trustfire flame 16340 in there, but no biggie. Might end up in the car as an emergency light -only good use for a strobe, for me

I noticed the other day when trying to track something on HK Post, that they have draconian regulations concerning lithium batteries - like USPS. You must have been very unlucky, because I would imagine virtually all dealers ignore such rules. You could ask them to post it again without the battery, I suppose.

Rules here.

Same crap just happend to me too. This guy is a joke. I swear he looked around at the other listings and realized how much cheaper he was selling it for and decided to cancel all the orders.
